Descripción

Adam Levine for Women by Adam Levine is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, the nose behind this composition is Yann Vasnier. The top notes reveal spices, calendula, saffron and citrus; the heart unfolds Australian sandalwood, Indian jasmine and rose petals; while the base notes settle on vanilla and benzoin.

Very pleasant; the woods and vanilla base are noticeable. Although the projection is moderate, it doesn’t project too much and I don’t find it overpowering. I’d give it a 6.5 for its price-to-quality ratio.

  • Noelilly

A wonderful scent that brings warmth and sensuality; you feel as if you’re by a fireplace in autumn. It’s simply brilliant, and for the price…

  • Cozy, elegant and formal, with that sweet and spicy touch that stands out thanks to its oud-like woods. If it weren’t so sweet, I’d wear it too. It reminds me of Katy Perry fragrances for that refined, moderate and good-value composition. It clearly outshines the others.

  • Cozy, elegant and formal, with that sweet and spicy touch highlighted by its oud-like woods. If it weren’t so sweet, I’d also wear it. It reminds me of Katy Perry fragrances for that fine, moderate and good-value composition. It clearly stands out against others.

  • I can’t wear this perfume. Its resemblance to Samsara, a fragrance I can’t stand, really displeases me. Too woody for my taste. I don’t detect any flowers or vanilla. Luckily, it cost me cheap.

  • I can’t stand this perfume. It smells too much like Samsara, which is the one I hate. It just smells of wood; I don’t detect any flowers or vanilla. Luckily, I picked it up cheap.

Not bad, but that woody note makes me think of someone over fifty. Personally, I didn’t like it, so I’m thinking of giving it away. For the price, it’s a top choice for gifting to that kind of person.

For me, this perfume is sandalwood, sandalwood, and then more sandalwood. I admit it was a blind buy for autumn, and I’m still not entirely clear on its use, though I have no regrets given the price. After wearing it for a few days on skin, I now smell it on blotting paper trying to pick up more notes; it’s true that as it dries, flowers and some vanilla appear, but for my nose, sandalwood still dominates above everything. I suppose I’ll give it a chance this autumn in the evening or at night; it’s an interesting fragrance, but for now, we’re not quite clicking.

I consider it doesn’t smell bad, but the type of wood leans more towards someone aged 50 and above. Personally, I didn’t like it; I’m thinking of gifting it. For the price, it’s an excellent gift option for that profile.

  • Adam Levine is quality all-round for this price, from the scent to the last detail of the packaging. In my opinion, it’s perfect for autumn thanks to its sweet, vanilla-like warmth that welcomes the first chill. It might not suit everyone as it’s a vintage yet modern aroma, very sweet but not gourmand. I’d wear it for everyday or work as it’s elegant yet discreet. For evening or special occasions, I’d choose something more striking. The bottle is a design marvel, microphone-shaped inspired by the singer, with thick, sturdy glass, a gorgeous metal cap, and a thick cardboard box with a unique closure. In short, I love it for daily use.

  • Adam Levine is, for me, a perfume that, given its price, exudes quality everywhere, from the fragrance to the last detail of the box. To my taste, it’s perfect for autumn due to its vanilla sweetness that invites you to welcome the first cold. It might not please everyone as it’s a slightly vintage yet modern scent, very sweet but not gourmand. I’d use it for daily wear, for going to work, because it’s elegant yet discreet. For night or special occasions, I’d choose something more standout. The bottle is a design marvel shaped like a microphone inspired by Adam Levine. The glass is thick and sturdy, the cap is a beautiful metal piece, and the thick cardboard box closes differently to all others. In short, I love it for daily use.

  • Very good fragrance for fresh days; it’s intense for the first two hours, so I think it might be too strong for warm days. Dense aroma; on my skin, it’s noticeable for at least six hours. Very economical price on Notino; 100 ml doesn’t even reach €10.

  • I loved it; it reminds me of L’instant by Guerlain. Delicious, tender, long-lasting, and elegant at a laughable price. I recommend it 100%.

  • Perhaps noses more trained might find faults, but I have nothing to reproach Adam Levine for Women and much to be grateful for. Its spirit is woody, sweet, and deep, with Nordic/Germanic vibes from the late 80s and 90s. It smells of wood soaked in resin and aromatic, like a galleon I visited in the harbour when I was a child, also like a fireplace, a Canadian cabin, a sauna… Calendula adds a bitter touch of wild flower and a pleasant hint of vanilla. It’s a tempered and appetising sweetness, like spiced Christmas sweet from Central Europe and the Netherlands. I feel dressed up, elegant, and empowered without losing its organic feel or forest density. It makes me feel warm, relaxed, and under a warm candle’s dim light. I think it deserves a higher score. Oh, it’s classified for ages 50+. A reflection: there will come a time when perfumes once judged as ‘old’ by today’s youth will also be considered vintage. Nothing more to add.

  • It has its pros and cons. It’s not bad, but certainly not the eighth wonder; perhaps it doesn’t work as it should on my skin. If you enjoy woody perfumes, especially sandalwood, you’ll find it in abundance here, accompanied by spices and vanilla for a warm and very good result. It has moderate trail and lasts about four hours on my skin. For this effect, I apply generously; it’s not a bomb. Although its performance isn’t the best, it has a brilliant price. I enjoy it at home after an afternoon shower; it’s very cosy, perfect for autumn and winter. If you’re looking for something affordable, homely and you like sandalwood, it could be a great option, but I wouldn’t use it outside due to its longevity. Scent 7/10, Longevity 4/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7.5/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 5.5/10. Probably won’t buy again.

  • This perfume is absolutely divine; I love the soft woody scent, lots of wood with exquisite sweetness. It was a blind buy, purchased because of the reviews and because I adore the artist, and the result was a total hit.

  • Smells super masculine on my skin, sandalwood from start to finish with a very subtle touch of talc. Projects well, but if you prefer very feminine perfumes, steer clear; this is very manly.

I love this perfume, especially the price. I like it because it becomes sweet at the end and you can feel the vanilla. I recommend it.

  • I love it! It’s super relaxing and cosy. If Christmas had a scent, it would be this. Imagine a Christmas afternoon with tiered cakes and ginger biscuits; it’s quite warm.

  • Totally unisex. At first, it smells masculine, like those vintage 90s perfumes I used to smell in my time, but when it dries down, it becomes sweeter and more feminine. My husband says it’s always masculine for him. I perceive vanilla and benzoin with a sandalwood base, spices, and jasmine. It reminds me of some honey. It’s love and hate. Edit: I sold it, it’s not for me, but it has great quality for the price.

  • Totally unisex. At first spray it’s directly masculine, with a 90s vintage vibe, but as it dries it becomes sweeter and more feminine. My husband says it’s masculine from start to finish for him. Different perceptions of the same scent. As it dries, I perceive vanilla and benzoin with a sandalwood, spice and jasmine base. The overall effect reminds me of some honey variety. So far it’s love-hate. Edit: I ended up selling it; it’s not a scent that suits me, but it has great quality for the price.

  • This is worth more than it costs; they care about every detail. The packaging and box are phenomenal, and the cap looks like a microphone, very original. It’s not woody or spiced; it’s oriental. It comes out a bit alcoholic due to the saffron, but when it dries down, it becomes lovely. The notes are balanced: jasmine, aged rose, citrus (perhaps bergamot), soft sandalwood, benzoin, and subtle vanilla. It doesn’t knock you out, it’s pleasant and not excessively sweet. It doesn’t smell vintage to me. The projection is good and the longevity is excellent. Is it masculine? No, but a man could wear it without issue. Surprising for a celebrity. It’s worth it.

  • This is one of those perfumes that’s worth more than its price. Every detail is carefully crafted. The packaging with the little box is phenomenal, and the cap (which looks like a microphone) is very original. It’s not woody or spicy, but rather oriental. There’s a slight alcoholic, sharp note from the saffran initially, but as it dries it becomes much more beautiful. I think its notes are very well combined and balanced. It’s a lovely blend of jasmine, a slightly aged rose (more in the background), something citrusy (bergamot), soft sandalwood, benzoin (resinous touch) and subtle vanilla. It’s not overpowering, just soft and quite pleasant, without being excessively sweet. It doesn’t smell ‘vintage’ to me. Projection and longevity are very good. I wouldn’t categorise it by gender, but… is it masculine? Absolutely not. Could a man wear it? Of course (why not?). Pleasantly surprised by a celebrity scent. It’s worth having.

  • It smells classic or vintage without being outdated. It’s comforting, unisex, spiced, and very woody. I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s beautiful. It’s super economical and doesn’t smell like a celebrity perfume. On my skin, it acts like an EDT: moderate projection for four hours.

  • It has a vintage vibe without being old-fashioned. It opens with a hit of spiced calendula and some citrus notes I can’t identify. Then the rose drops (too stuck for my liking) and leaves a trail of benzoin, wood, and non-cloying vanilla. It’s a beautiful discovery, not overwhelming. If you like vintage, stuck, and different perfumes, give it a try. Don’t buy blindly if you’re not an adventurer.

  • It’s not for everyone: it smells very woody. I use it on cold or rainy days. It lasts over five hours on clothes, about two on the skin. For its price, it’s more than enough.

  • blackstone

The longevity isn’t extreme, but for the price, it’s a marvel. I’ve never smelled anything like this. If you don’t like calendula, don’t even try it, but if you can handle it, it’s a genuine hit. Also, the bottle is original and of good quality. Highly recommended.

  • Perla Vencis

If you’re looking for an oriental, this is it. Upon spraying, the spices and Australian sandalwood take charge; jasmine and rose are barely noticeable. When it dries down, although it says vanilla, it doesn’t stand out. It’s spices and woods, discreet and soft, nothing conventional or overwhelming. I reserve it for autumn afternoons or rainy days.

  • I was expecting more sandalwood, but the rose and calendula dominate from the start and get stuck. The citrus and vanilla are non-existent to my nose. It smells classic, very 80s, with no surprises. I looked for it to layer with other sandalwoods and it works, but on its own it doesn’t convince me: it’s heavy, with no projection or longevity. Hopefully, it improves with maceration.

  • I would have liked the sandalwood to stand out more; the rose and calendula are felt from the very first moment and remain, stuck. The citrus and vanilla are non-existent to my nose. It’s a classic, very 80s scent, nothing special. I was hoping for an exquisite sandalwood to layer with, but I can’t be bothered to wear it alone as it’s heavy, with no great longevity or projection. We’ll see if it improves with maceration over weeks.
