  • I tried it this lunchtime at Zara Alicante and it’s a clone of Stronger with You, although in a synthetic version.

  • YezusPerfumo

A sweet but mature fragrance. It seems like a Christmas fruit punch, that mix of fruits in hot water taken at parties. Notes of apple, cinnamon, piloncillo, guava, and orange. It smells of pure apple, citrus, and cinnamon over wood and lots of amber. It’s warm, long-lasting, and has a trail of more than an arm’s length, about six hours. Perfect for cold weather, nothing for summer.

A sweet but mature fragrance. To me, it’s like a Christmas fruit punch: a mix of fruits in hot water, typical at parties. You can taste apple, cinnamon, piloncillo, guava, and orange. In Amber Ego, all this is noticeable. What does it smell like exactly? Pure apple, a citrus touch, and cinnamon, over a woody base with plenty of amber. It’s warm and long-lasting, with a trail of more than an arm’s length and about six hours of longevity. Perfect for winter and autumn, nothing for summer.

  • Spectacular fragrance at a price that has no rival (under ten pounds). Smells of apple and cinnamon, amber, and a touch of iris. Sweet but not cloying, ideal for cold weather. Good longevity and trail. A very wise purchase!

  • If you like Armani’s Stronger With You Intensely, don’t waste your money on the original. This is practically identical and lasts just as long. Bear in mind, it’s for those who prefer sweet scents: it smells of nougat caramel with a hint of coconut. It’s so sugary it gives a sensation of warmth, so wear it in cold weather or spring. The longevity is brutal, so don’t over-spray. For under ten pounds, it’s worth every penny.

As a lover of Zara perfumery, I bought it about four hours ago. As soon as I took it out of the box, I sprayed one on my wrist. It is a rich fragrance, nothing cloying, and everyone who tried it liked it without hesitation. Four hours later I still notice it on my wrist and it projects, with less intensity of course, but it is noticeable. I repeat: I only applied one spray.

  • Addictive and super sweet scent. I don’t know how Stronger smells, but I like this Amber. At times it slightly reminds me of 1 Million, the note I notice most is cinnamon and it smells totally vanilla. Totally recommended for cold climates and for the night.

  • With that coconut scent, wouldn’t anyone wear it on a summer night? I see nothing inappropriate about it for that moment. What do you think?

  • I jumped in because of the reviews and it is similar to Stronger With You. I compared them and that is exactly it. Saving for the fact that Zara is more synthetic, it does not disappoint. Longevity and intensity: I was pleasantly surprised, I notice it on skin and clothes for 6-7 hours. The intensity is moderate-good, it does not stand out projecting, but it creates a warm and sweet aura. It is sweet, better for cold days. The price is another great incentive; I bought it for less than €10.

  • I love Amber Ego. While others talk of spices and cinnamon, to me it only smells of exquisite apple and the sweetness of iris; I don’t detect cedar. The sweetness is not exaggerated or overwhelming. It is warm, nocturnal, or perfect for rainy afternoons having coffee or dinner. Very pleasant for women due to the warmth and fruity notes. In Zara, I wish it had more projection, but it is one of the best I own.

Anyone who says this is the same as Stronger With You Intensely is mad. It does remind you, but if you put one on each arm, the comparison is: Stronger is mineral water and Zara is a bottle left in the sun. It is a rich, long-lasting scent at a ridiculous price. Ideal for that ‘vibe’ but softer and simpler for everyday wear. Although YouTubers say they are the same, I disagree, but I will share my experience.

I already owned Versace Eros and it didn’t come to mind until I saw Zara’s notes: lemon, apple, and vanilla, ingredients that Eros also has. Once I knew this, I compared them and Amber Ego smells very similar to Eros 2020. Try it with Eros in mind and you will understand what I mean.

  • I bought it to compare with Stronger With You Intensely, but then I tried the EDT and it is much closer to this one. It smells rich, although it is more synthetic than the EDT for obvious reasons. The longevity and projection are very good and the price is a laugh. One of the best from Zara.

  • I bought it blind and it is excellent for winter and autumn. It reminds me of that Zara Tobacco Rich-Warm-Addictive line I already own. Highly recommended. 12 hours on the skin, it’s incredible!

  • CristianPrunello

I always buy blind and this is a bombshell of coconut and vanilla, super sweet with great projection and longevity. The price is ridiculous and the quality is 10/10. I would buy it again without hesitation; it smells absolutely delicious.

  • I bought it blindly because I first encountered Stronger with You Intensely, which I thought was phenomenal. But they don’t compare in terms of scent quality. I bought the Zara one not only for the value for money but because Stronger seemed too sweet and intense at first. Reading reviews, they said it was a less sweet and invasive option, so I decided. Although Zara’s scent resembles Armani’s greatly in the dry-down, they differ enormously in quality and nuances. In quality, Zara is more synthetic, with a base that sometimes tires me. In nuances, in Zara’s version, the apple is more noticeable, whereas in Stronger, vanilla, caramel, and sweet tobacco stand out. Both are similar because they share the same DNA, but it’s clear they are two different worlds. Zara’s price is unbeatable; the price-quality ratio is undeniable. Worth every penny. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 9/10, Projection: 8/10, Trail: 8/10, Value for money: 10/10, Blind buy: 8/10. Season: autumn/winter.

  • I bought it blindly because I first tried Stronger with You Intensely and loved it. But they don’t compare in terms of scent quality. The Zara one isn’t just about price; the Armani felt too sweet and intense for me at first. Seeing that this was less invasive, I decided on it. The Zara scent is very similar to the Armani when dry, but the difference in quality and nuances is noticeable. Zara is more synthetic, with a base that sometimes becomes tiring. In terms of nuances, apple stands out in Zara, whereas in Armani it’s the vanilla, caramel, and sweet tobacco. They share the same DNA, but they are two different worlds. Zara’s price is unbeatable and the value for money is undeniable. Worth every penny. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 9/10, Projection: 8/10, Trail: 8/10, Value for money: 10/10. Blind buy: 8/10. Season: autumn/winter.

  • It doesn’t remind me of Stronger with You Intensely; it’s less sweet, perhaps more like the normal version. The longevity is good, especially considering it’s currently £5.

  • I AGREE WITH JOMA: anyone who says it resembles SWY Intensely is mad. I hate to say it, but it’s too similar to Armani Code Absolu Gold. It has the same apple note in the opening and dry-down. Yes, obviously it resembles Stronger, but remember that Stronger has melon, not apple. Besides, everyone says it resembles Stronger (which has similarities), but it’s a carbon copy of Absolu Gold.

  • aromamusica

I was desperate to get it and when I finally did, I loved it, but soon I got bored with it. I use it from time to time because I like it, but not for every day. If it’s similar to the Armani one.

  • aromamusica

I was desperate to get it; when I acquired it, I loved it, but soon I got bored. I use it from time to time because I like it in itself, but not for every day. If it resembles Armani’s.

  • BwFraganlover

Excellent dupe of Stronger with You at a very good price. Smells good, moderate performance. Both SWY and this one have that wet cardboard scent that I like, basically coconut and amber. Good value for money. God’s plan 🦉.

  • Zara Amber Ego. I started because people said it resembled Armani’s Stronger with You. I hadn’t tried it yet, but at Zara’s price, I jumped in. I love it! It begins with a very well-crafted green apple accord: fresh, fruity, and slightly mentholated. Soon its essence emerges: a super sweet scent (less than Armani’s) where coconut, vanilla, and amber stand out. What surprises me is that, although it’s sweet, it doesn’t lose its initial mentholated facet. It dilutes, but if you pay attention, it’s still there. It performs brilliantly: 10 hours of longevity. It projects strongly for the first 3-4 hours with a heavy trail that drops to something moderate. Ideal for night out in cold weather. Perfect for going out partying or having a drink, nothing too formal. It’s unisex but leans towards the masculine side. Zara has done a good job and has made me want to try Armani’s Stronger with You collection. Recommended 100%. If you want more content, visit my YouTube channel: Perfúmate Con JL.

  • Zara Amber Ego. My story begins when the community commented that it bears a great resemblance to Armani’s Stronger with You. I hadn’t tried the original yet, but seeing Zara’s price, I didn’t hesitate. Let me tell you, I absolutely love it. It’s a fragrance that starts with a very well-executed green apple accord. Fresh, fruity, and slightly mentholated is what you notice first. Soon enough, its true essence appears, an extremely sweet scent (not as much as the Armani) where coconut, vanilla, and amber stand out. What surprises me is that although it becomes very sweet, it doesn’t lose its initial mentholated facet. It fades away, but if you pay attention, it remains present. The fragrance performs wonderfully: ten hours of longevity, projecting for between three and four hours with a heavy trail at the start that drops to something moderate. Ideal for wearing at night in cold weather. Perfect for going out partying or having a drink, nothing too formal. Regarding the unisex aspect, yes, but leaning towards the masculine side. A fragrance where Zara does things well and has made me interested in the Armani collection. Recommended 100% to everyone. • I tried it today. I don’t throw hate around for free; in the end, every nose has its verdict. For me, a resounding NO. The opening was dreadful; I wanted to wash it off my arm. It seemed like the base of Stronger with You Intensely but poorly executed: smoky, synthetic, and loud. The development toned down the loudness, but I still don’t like it. I love the SWY line. Does it resemble Stronger with You? Yes, the Intensely. But it’s not a good option. It doesn’t give that typical gourmand sensation of the line. As a standalone fragrance, in my opinion, it’s a failure. It lasts a long time; I washed my wrist three times and it still smelled (after five hours it was still there). If you like the SWY line, you won’t like this; there’s an abyssal difference. I understand the price, but they could have kept it simple and not added that smoky touch that ruins everything.

  • I tried it today and, although I rarely knock a perfume, for my nose it was a resounding no. The opening was dreadful; I wanted to wash it off my arm immediately. It smelled like Stronger with You Intensely but poorly executed, with an ultra-synthetic, shrill smokiness that I found unpleasant. The development didn’t change much, merely reducing the volume of that shrill tone, yet I still don’t like it. I must clarify that I adore the SWY line and yes, it resembles Stronger with You, specifically the Intensely version, but I don’t believe it’s a good option. It fails to capture the gourmand sensation that defines the line, so it’s only useful to gauge its direction. As a standalone fragrance, in my personal opinion, it’s a failure. Its longevity is excellent; I washed my wrist three times and it was still detectable (and it remains so after five hours). If you like the SWY line, you probably won’t like this; you’ll notice the huge difference between the two (and I understand the price disparity, but they could have kept the simplicity of the SWY scents and omitted that shrill smoky touch that, in my view, ruins everything).

  • Wow! I was fascinated by it; what a shame it’s discontinued 😢. It smells very similar to Zara’s Tie and Dye, which is also out of stock 😢😢. The notes say amber and coconut, and they’re noticeable, especially the amber. In cold, it smells like exquisite sweet clove. A divine scent 😍🕉️. A gem of perfumery, 1000x recommended 🕉️🕉️🕉️.

  • Jorge Milán

It’s an almost exact clone of the Stronger with You EDT; nothing like the Intensely version.

  • alpacavelluda

I’m not usually a fan of coconut in other fragrances, but here it works wonders. It doesn’t last forever, but it’s far from bad.
