At first, the fruity note softens and a hint of biscuit emerges, though very subtle, certainly anchored by the caramel. It feels less feminine than the original Gold Edition, yet not more masculine either; it’s more unisex. It smells more musky, without resembling Erba Pura. Dry down is fruity, slightly sweet and clean; that blend reminds me of a typical women’s perfume. I’ll turn it off and revisit it in a few days. UPDATE: A day later, with several hours of dry time, the vanilla now clearly smells earthy, with a feminine touch reminiscent of old makeup powder. If I discover anything new, I’ll let you know.
