It smells like that hug from mum after cutting flowers in the garden; walking together, chatting about uni or work. Nothing cloyingly sweet, it’s neat, fresh and floral, with a touch of talc that gives it character. I can see this on an adult, executive woman who is caring, and it could even be unisex. The scent is fairly linear with moderate projection and longevity. What a lovely aroma!

It’s very powdery, very similar to Teint de Neige but not quite the same. This one has more talc, iris, and musk (with a slight animalic touch at first) and a hint of sweetness. It’s a magical sillage, with that maternal embrace. It feels cosy, relaxing, simple yet elegant. It lasts about six hours with moderate projection. It’s worth it, though at 90-100€ I’d opt for the Lorenzo Villoresi EDP or EDT, which offer better longevity. I found this for around 40€ including shipping, and then the value for money is excellent. It wouldn’t replace Teint de Neige for me, but I’d wear it for sleeping or at home whenever I want something cosy and understated. Scent 7/10, Longevity 6/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? I’m not sure.

Pure baby powder, potent and fine, but without compromise. What perfume tries to reflect baby powder? I don’t know. What I do know is that it amplifies and projects the baby powder I used when my babies were little. Do I like it? Not a chance, I don’t want to smell like baby powder. Others will love it, it will evoke wonderful memories and be a top favourite, but for me it’s a resounding no.
