SPECTACULAR! Although oud isn’t usually my thing, this niche perfume from Florence, AQUAFLOR, has completely captivated me as it evolves beautifully and delicately on my skin, earning a special place in my vanity. Beyond the oud, there are plenty of other notes: Black Pepper, Nutmeg and Saffron at the opening; Tonka Bean, Labdanum and Leather in the heart; and Oud, Patchouli, Musk, Civet and Castoreum in the base. All this makes the oud gentle and wearable for someone like me who isn’t a fan. If you’re visiting Florence and are passionate about perfumes, Aquaflor is an absolute must-visit.
