Beaver Zoologist is a leathery, animalic, smoky, and woody fragrance. The opening is musky and leathery, lacking freshness or warmth, yet the animal character is noticeable straight away. Over time, it becomes dirtier, likely due to the castoreum and musk, adding a slightly smoky sensation. After two hours, the scent softens, becoming more aromatic with vanilla and iris, although the animal side persists. It has artistic value for being unique, but it’s difficult to recommend; the scent doesn’t attract me (at least not to me). I’m not sure in which situations to wear it, as I can’t see myself in it. The opening isn’t very friendly and requires waiting until it becomes more bearable, so I believe it’s more suited for personal use. The longevity wasn’t bad, holding up well for eight hours. Certainly, it’s not for blind buying; it’s challenging, and with honesty, I prefer to turn that challenge on its head :D.

Over time, it becomes dirtier, thanks to the castoreum and musk, gaining a smoky nuance. After two hours, it’s less harsh and more aromatic, with vanilla and iris, though the animal side remains. It has artistic value because I know nothing similar, but it’s hard to recommend; the scent doesn’t appeal to me (at least not to me). I’m not sure when to wear it, as I can’t picture myself in it, and the opening isn’t friendly: you have to wait for it to soften. That’s why I think it’s better for personal use. The longevity was good, lasting the full eight hours. It’s not one to buy blindly; it’s a challenge, and I confess I prefer to turn that challenge on its head :D.
Iris, vanilla, and ash with a touch of floral animalic notes, smelling of damp earth. Very ‘Sui Generis’: the average shopper will flee the store upon trying it.
