What an honour for my first review of this gem. It is the definition of ‘Olfactory Experience’: close your eyes and you’re transported to an old memory. It takes me back to those Christmases of old, with doors wide open, tables full, and the crackler in the background bringing the scent of gunpowder. Times gone by when the family was together. Now I only remember this with Bel Natale. Longevity and projection 10/10.
One of the first to whisk me straight to the Christmas table 🎄. At first, that realistic sweet bread accord, candied fruits, and the midnight toast dominate everything. It’s incredible how the gunpowder note closes the story with such detail.
