About Berlin 33
Berlin 33: A Woody-Oriental of Fruit, Leather and Resin
Birkholz introduces Berlin 33 in 2026 as a woody-oriental fragrance for everyone. The mood is metropolitan after hours, balancing fresh lift with a darker, balsamic undertow.
Ginger, peach and pink pepper lead the top, lavender, leather and patchouli form the heart, and incense, myrrh and sandalwood bring the composition home.
At first it is all sparkle and flesh. Peach offers ripe sweetness, sharpened by ginger and given a peppery-rose edge by pink pepper. The impression stays airy rather than gourmand.
The heart then turns more tailored. Lavender lends an aromatic, laundered freshness that tempers the leather, while patchouli provides an earthy, timbered bridge towards the base.
That leather feels burnished, not biker-tough. It lends structure and a genuinely all-gender appeal, taking over gracefully as the fruit recedes.
The final stage is smoke and balm. Incense sketches a cool veil, myrrh thickens it with syrupy resin, and sandalwood softens the edges with creamy, mellow wood.
Expect amber and woody warmth, spice both cool and heated, balsamic depth, patchouli, leather and lavender, finished with a sweet-fruity shimmer. It suits evenings and the colder half of the year, when contrast wears best.
It will appeal to wearers who favour supple leather, patchouli and incense, and prefer a warm yet buoyant shared scent kept fresh by lavender and spiced peach.
Berlin 33 closes the circle neatly: vivid opening, refined leathery centre, and a lingering incense-myrrh-sandalwood base. A composed, versatile woody-oriental.
