Birth of Venus by Argos is an oriental floral fragrance for women. This creation, launched in 2024, unfolds a fragrance pyramid where the top notes evoke the freshness of peach, orange blossom, grapefruit, bergamot and lavender. The heart of the composition is enriched with raspberry, chocolate, rose, sambac jasmine and narcissus, while the base notes settle into the warmth of amber, Mysore sandalwood, cashmere wood and vetiver.

Too synthetic for my taste…
First impression: very feminine, certainly. It’s spring-like, pleasant and simple. A little youthful but lovely. It doesn’t sound synthetic to me, but that innocent, fruity sweetness recalls designer or celebrity perfumes more than niche, so it might not be what you’re looking for if you’re used to the exclusive stuff.
Delicious! Smells like a well-bred girl. It’s pure niche aroma and I love smelling it on my wife. This and Pallas Athens are jewels for women 💎
I arrived with high hopes due to the bottle’s artistry and the Birth of Venus story. A friend lent me a decant to avoid buying blindly, and it was luck… The scent is extremely synthetic and childish, smelling like celebrity perfume rather than niche. If you are picky about niche fragrances, try it first as it might disappoint. It’s not a bad perfume, but it isn’t worth the price tag.
Starts with a feminine opening, but within minutes it shifts to unisex, almost masculine. The fruity notes dominate before giving way to florals. I almost bought Adonis, but Birth won my heart. A 10/10 🤘🏼
