Smells like Bentley for Men Intense.

For the price, it’s a good perfume. Medium longevity, low projection; it stays close to the skin. 8/10.

I have been wearing this fragrance for half a year; I’ll get straight to the point: upon application, the opening is somewhat confused and abrupt, like a super-strong citrus with a present pepper note. Then it develops and expresses the tobacco, but here lies the problem: the scent is almost non-existent. Its projection is so poor I would rate it a maximum of one hour. I know it is an EDT, yet it still seems very weak. Furthermore, the scent it produces is also poor, almost imperceptible; I can’t even smell it up close even with six sprays. I even asked, and people thought I wasn’t wearing perfume. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Some take the liberty of comparing it to Red Tobacco, which seems absurd; this perfume is not even in the shadow of Red Tobacco.

It is a very good Avon perfume, spicy, citrusy, and tobacco-like. But beware, it is for cold weather as it becomes overwhelming in the heat.

I just received it and can’t find the tobacco. It smells like a sweet, synthetic aroma very similar to Tito Bluni Leather Style. It’s an unbearable perfume that has nothing to do with Red Tobacco. Don’t waste your money on this.

At first, the notes are incense-like and intense; beyond the bottle, its colour is red, fiery, inviting you to puff out your chest and go forward. I love it. It adds a tinge of sensuality that makes me feel desirable, but be careful not to use too much as it becomes dense and projects too much. For the price, it’s excellent, suitable for both day and night. I recommend it like Espíritu Seductor, for going to the beach or out to a bar; it gives that empowering tinge. The projection lasts about 4-5 hours, after which it stays close to the skin.

They gave it to me today. At first, there’s a lot of tobacco, in the style of Versace Dreamer, slightly sweet until minutes later the pepper takes the lead. EDIT: it’s a version of Mancera Red Tobacco that, personally, lasts a long time on my skin and in projection. A sweet, beautiful tobacco aroma, and for the price, even better!

Good fragrance, a strong but pleasant opening that improves with time. It has similarities with some of its Black Suede siblings. It’s a good scent.

BLACK SUEDE ‘HOT’ BY AVON: Excellent proposition from this house! They do things right with limited budgets. It certainly reminds me of Mancera Red Tobacco, clarifying that they aren’t the same; Mancera’s quality is infinitely superior, but this Avon one becomes a worthy competitor and honourable. I wore it for dinner with my wife, and from the moment we were in the car, she started reproaching me for buying another fragrance, but I didn’t say anything as it smells very good. ‘How much did it cost?’ she asked. Then, thinking she’d believe I’d spent a fortune on an expensive fragrance, I replied 14 dollars and obviously she didn’t believe me. So we made a bet: if I could prove what I’d paid, she would have to… (I’ll leave it to her imagination). So when I got home, I had to show her the receipt and she lost a bet that I collected in a somewhat pornographic way. Back to the topic: it’s a pleasant surprise full of cunning, of a desire to create fragrances that raise their hands asking for a bit of trust and attention from potential consumers. Believe me, they won’t disappoint. The opening doesn’t say much; it feels like a strange combination of very spicy citrus that makes it a bit confusing and redundant; wait for it to dry down. Approximately 20 minutes later, the aroma sheds its skin and reveals itself as it truly is: simply a magnificent dry down. It is there where that tobacco burst, alight, refined, powdery and velvety, is fully appreciated with total approval. It’s the evil brother of the already famous Mancera Red Tobacco. Warm spicy aroma, especially for cold climates. I’ve liked it a lot. Scent: 9.0. Projection: hitting around 2 hours. Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.

BLACK SUEDE ‘HOT’ BY AVON: An excellent proposition from Avon that does well with a limited budget. It reminds me of Mancera Red Tobacco; they are not identical, Mancera’s quality is superior, but this Avon one is a worthy and honourable competitor. I wore it to dinner with my wife, and from the car, she started scolding me for buying another fragrance, though it smells very good. I asked her how much it cost, and thinking I had spent a fortune, I said fourteen dollars; obviously, she didn’t believe me. We made a bet: if I could prove what I paid, she would have to… (let your imagination run wild). When I got home, I showed her the receipt and she lost, paying me back in a somewhat pornographic manner. It is a pleasant surprise full of cunning to win consumer trust. The opening is confusing with very spicy citrus, but after twenty minutes, the scent reveals itself: a magnificent dry-down with bursts of tobacco, alcoholic, refined, powdery, and velvety. It is the evil twin of Mancera’s Red Tobacco, a warm and spicy scent ideal for cold climates. I have loved it. Scent: 9.0. Projection: close to two hours. Longevity: six hours. Recommended.

I met it today in a physical Avon store here in Santiago de Chile. I expected something different, more potent. I even had the small hope it would remind me of Xeryus Rouge, but it didn’t. It’s not that it’s bad; it’s that it smells very similar to the previous Black Suede flanker: Intense. They are very similar, perhaps this Hot is a bit sweeter, but the tobacco it claims to have, I don’t feel it. Yes, the pepper, which is why it seems very similar to Intense, and if I had to choose one, I’d stick with Intense, as it’s less sweet and its pepper seems better executed. But of the recent flankers, I’d stick with Black Suede Dark, which finally offers something different: raw and noticeable leather, with fruity tinges. Very synthetic, but a bold and entertaining blend. In conclusion, this Hot is by no means a bad fragrance; it’s for smelling good, it’s warm, ideally for cold climates, for dates or social gatherings.

It’s the budget version of Mancera Red Tobacco, a brutal fragrance for the price. 10 out of 10.

I bought a cinnamon room spray at a Chinatown shop—a simple glass bottle with just a drawing, no ingredients listed—but the scent hooked me. Like any addict, I sprayed it five times after my shower, and my skin turned red and stung for a while. The fragrance reminded me of that room spray and caught my attention. To me, the opening is very spicy cinnamon, likely due to black pepper, with a hint of bergamot. Almost from the start, there’s a sweet note; to me, it’s amber, though I know tobacco can give that impression. After about six hours, I detect vanilla right up close to the skin. The strange thing was that my skin projected it more than my clothes, as if the heat activated it. I liked it.

Imagine an afternoon or evening in an elegant bar, surrounded by gentlemen from the early 20th century chatting while sipping bourbon and smoking cigars; that is the essence of this fragrance. Upon application, you feel a burst of ripe, almost fresh citrus with a spicy kick of pepper that defines it for the first ten minutes. Then, the spices recall the classic Avon Mesmerize Blue, and after about twenty minutes, the vanilla-infused, semi-spicy cinnamon takes centre stage. By the hour, the initial citrus fades, but the cinnamon blends with a light tobacco and bourbon-alcoholic notes, evoking Avon’s Segno and Black Suede Intense, or even Absolute by Sensus (without the smoky oud or strong leather). The heart notes of cinnamon and alcoholic tobacco are delicious and last the life of the bottle. I would wear it all day and night in winter, in the afternoon and night in autumn, and only at night in spring. I wouldn’t recommend it in summer as it is hot and spicy. With six sprays, it lasts four to five hours, projecting for one to two hours. It is perfect for dates and gatherings, giving you that air of a turn-of-the-century lord, ideal for those over 25.
