  Starts citrusy and spicy, with vetiver and pepper, plus a subtle touch of orange blossom and neroli. Then it evolves into wood, with vetiver taking centre stage until it’s just that left. Poor performance, about four hours, and zero projection; barely noticeable after an hour. Recommended for heat and daytime wear. Seems more masculine than feminine.

  Neroli with a touch of pepper, then it fades away. That’s it. For spring-summer and daytime use. Weak longevity and soft sillage.

  Bois Blonds or Bois Tocomocho: the shortest review of my life because it smells like nothing. It’s like a homeopathic water with almost no citrus trail. Neither I nor a police dog can detect it; it’s less than 20% cologne. The worst of the brand. No sillage and poor longevity, worse than the last Mugler. A comfortable family scent that turns bitter if you focus on it too much. A rip-off: for the price, buy half a kilo of fresh prawns and an Albariño; your stomach will thank you.

  Smells good and fresh, but it’s predictable. Neroli, vetiver and wood dominate, though the incense is barely noticeable. The citrus notes evoke the Amalfi coast, both acidic and sweet at the same time. Ideal for anyone in summer, but the longevity is ridiculous: on my skin it doesn’t even last an hour. Not worth the price. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 6/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 5/10
