It’s deep and highlights that Santal 33-style sandalwood, even if it’s mid-range quality. The cypress is noticeable at first but very subtle. Once it dries down, the blend of palo santo and sandalwood turns darkly delicious and delicate. It doesn’t smell of snake skin or mandrill; quite the opposite. It’s excellent if you love deep woods and lasts quite well on the skin.
It’s the third Bois collection scent I’ve picked up. I adore that woody note with a hint of oil, and above all, the palo santo. I like it because, as I’m used to burning palo santo, it smells exactly like that, but without being lit. Truth be told, this line isn’t very potent, so it clings to the skin, but it still makes me happy.
