  I was looking for the men’s Parfum version at an outlet store here in Germany, but they didn’t have it, though they did have this women’s version, the last 30ml bottle untested. I checked the notes and online reviews and didn’t hesitate to buy it, as it’s very hard to find at a good price now that it’s discontinued. I tried it in fresh weather and it’s absolute beast mode, lasting easily 10 hours. It’s a very elegant leather scent, like a fine blazer, with creamy woody undertones and a hint of sweetness, presumably from the tonka bean. Very unisex; it doesn’t lean either feminine or masculine, looking excellent on both. A work of art!

  Good heavens, what a magnificent leather scent, so beautiful and perfect. On top of that, it’s a real odyssey to find it, as they’ve even discontinued the Eau de Parfum. The Bottega Veneta Parfum has a spectacular sweetness without being cloying; there’s less oakmoss and more tonka with a very fine sandalwood. Is it the most elegant leather scent? It might be, but I won’t confirm it because they’ve discontinued all the Bottega Veneta fragrances that were worth having.
