Bright Wood by Mizensir is a woody oriental scent for men and women, launched in 2026 and created by perfumer Alberto Morillas.
The construction contrasts airiness with softness, pairing an immaculate ambroxan and cashmeran opening with an aromatic spiced heart and a mellow, sweet base.
From the first spray the impression is neat and contemporary. Ambroxan lends a mineral, faintly amber glow, while cashmeran contributes a powdery muskiness that smooths the edges.
The middle brings together cardamom, cypress, Nootka, Dreamwood, orange blossom and praline. Chilled cardamom spice is set against the verdant, aromatic character of cypress, keeping things luminous.
Here, Nootka timber and Dreamwood form a lean, refined woody structure, tempered by caramelised praline sweetness and the delicate white floralcy of orange blossom.
The base settles into vanilla absolute, tonka bean, patchouli and musk. Vanilla and tonka supply a creamy, vanillic sweetness, patchouli a grounding earthiness, and musk a fresh, cosy cotton effect.
In character it is warm and spiced yet never weighty: aromatic and woody on the surface, sweetly ambery beneath. The development moves from transparent towards snug, suited to effortless day-to-day wear.
