Champagne Affair: Wayne & Co's Bubbly New Scent for Women and Men

There is something instantly celebratory about Champagne Affair, the new fragrance from Wayne & Co. Launching in 2025, it offers a fruity, boozy opening and a rich, comforting base that feels both modern and familiar.

The scent opens with raspberry, red berries, champagne, bitter almond, and liqueur. From there, it moves through a heart of sour cherry, black cherry, dark chocolate, violet leaves, and cinnamon, eventually settling on a dry-down of dried fruits, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, brioche, cedar, clove, chalk, and oak.

The first impression is fizzy and bright. Raspberry and red berries give it a candied juiciness, while champagne and liqueur add a grown-up kick. Bitter almond touches the edges with a dry, nutty bitterness that stops the sweetness from becoming cloying.

The cherry note is the real star in the middle. Sour cherry cuts through with a tangy edge, while black cherry delivers deep, jammy sweetness. Dark chocolate adds a slight cocoa bitterness, cinnamon brings warmth, and violet leaves lift the whole composition with a soft, green haze.

The base is where Champagne Affair becomes truly comforting. Brioche, vanilla, tonka bean, and dried fruits create a bready, dessert-like creaminess. Sandalwood, cedar, oak, and clove keep it grounded, while chalk adds a subtle mineral-like texture that feels distinctive.

With accords of fruit, sweetness, cherry, warm spice, and wood, the perfume is easy to wear but not forgettable. It suits colder months, evening events, and anyone who prefers a fragrance with personality rather than a whisper.

Although it has only just arrived in 2025, Champagne Affair already has an average rating of 4.23 out of 5 from 13 ratings and 2 reviews. A promising start for such a rich composition.

This will appeal to fans of fruity, cherry-led gourmands, especially those who like a warm, woody backbone. It's a great choice for both men and women who want to feel cosy, confident, and ready to celebrate — whether heading out for an evening or simply adding sparkle to a grey day.

Champagne Affair captures the essence of a toast in bottle form. It is sweet enough to enjoy, thoughtful enough to respect, and warm enough to wear often. Wayne & Co have created a promising new release with real personality.

  1. Beautiful fragrance made in Argentina—niche, I’d say. Incredible how you can smell the champagne fizzing in the opening. It lasts a good while on my skin, around 8 hours, but on clothes it stays until the next day. Honestly, it’s a more than recommended purchase for evening occasions with attire that matches the range of this product.

  2. Great fragrance, nothing like the usual commercial scents. You get that alcoholic, champagne-like smell in the opening; eventually, as it develops, it moves through chocolate and finally into a soft vanilla with chalk and dried fruits. Incredible, a unique olfactory experience, though it has one flaw: it lasts less than 8 hours; to be honest, I’d like it to last longer, but it gets to 6 or 7 hours. It projects very well for the first hour, then slowly fades until it sits close to the skin. Very pleasant and recommended, though for the price it could last a little longer.
