Descripción
Christian Lacroix Rouge by Avon is a floral chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2007, this composition was created by Laurent Le Guernec and Carlos Benaïm. The top notes unfold with white pepper, red peony, and orange; the heart reveals carnation, lotus flower, osmanthus, tulip, Japanese plum, and water lily; while the base settles on patchouli, cashmere wood, and musk. The perfume was crowned winner of two awards: FiFi Award Fragrance of the Year Women's Private Label/Direct Sell 2008 and FiFi Awards Best Packaging Women's Popular Appeal 2008.

One of Avon’s most romantic, classy and trail-filled fragrances; I still don’t know why they had to discontinue it. A delightful chypre and its best feature was the price, although it smelled expensive. I respect the tastes of Far Away devotees, but apart from its trail and longevity, which is excellent, for me Rouge is the winner, the one that should have occupied Far Away’s sales spot, and above all, not been discontinued. Rouge lives up to its name ‘ROUGE’ in terms of sensuality, warmth, beauty and passion. Avon, that was a great disappointment; I hope you don’t repeat it with TODAY, although I know well of Avon that the legacy you leave us with your attitude is like the old song that the beautiful Rocío Jurado sang so many times… BEAUTIFUL THINGS DON’T LAST LONG, NO FLOWER EVER LASTED TWO SPRINGS…
One of Avon’s most romantic and classy scents; I still don’t understand why they removed it from the catalogue. It’s a beautiful chypre; the best thing was its price, though it smelled luxurious. I respect Far Away fans, but apart from its trail and longevity, for me Rouge is the winner and deserved its place. It lives up to its name ‘ROUGE’ in sensuality, warmth, beauty and passion. Avon was a disappointment; I hope TODAY doesn’t repeat the mistake. I know Avon’s legacy is always like that old Rocío Jurado song: ‘Beautiful things don’t last long; no flower ever lasted two springs’.
I must say I had it a few years ago, but its quite heavy and dense scent didn’t fully convince me; it felt unisex to me.
I have to say I tried it a few years ago but it didn’t quite take my fancy. The scent was very heavy and dense, something that felt more unisex than what I was looking for.
One of my all-time favourites. It’s a pity I can’t get it anymore. During the years I wore it, I always received many compliments. Its performance was always very good. The longevity is excellent.
One of my all-time favourites! It’s one of my preferred fragrances and what a pity I haven’t been able to find it again. Whenever I wore it, people always asked for it. The performance was always top-notch and the longevity is excellent.
I saved the last bit for about five sprays. It wasn’t anything spectacular or magical, nor was it bad, but it’s not a scent I miss with nostalgia. Very simple, just another on the list. I wouldn’t buy it again. I purchased it 13 years ago and it has finally run out.
