Rémy Latour Cigar is an aromatic fruity fragrance for men. Launched in 1996, this composition unfolds with top notes of plum, pineapple, bergamot, pear, and Amalfi lemon. • Smells like tobacco with a fresh citrus note; I wish it had better sillage and lasted longer on the skin; it would be perfect.

  • How’s it going, Gomora? Good afternoon. I must say, on my skin the longevity is quite impressive. Perhaps the blend of ingredients won’t suit you as much, but it varies, and not every fragrance sits well with everyone. Personally, I absolutely love it.

  • Hello Gomora, very good afternoon. I’ll tell you that the longevity on my skin is indeed quite prolonged. Perhaps the combination of components on your skin isn’t what you’d desire, but as you can see, that’s variable and the same fragancies don’t suit everyone equally. Personally, I quite like it.

What a good perfume. I think I have a reformulated version, but it remains exquisite. On my skin, what I perceive most is the pear, tobacco, plum, and patchouli. I recommend it as a blind buy if you like fragrances with tobacco notes. Longevity 6 hours, projection 2 hours, best for night use and cold climates. Available online between $15 and $20. I give it an 8.5/10 in terms of quality and price.

A strange perfume… I’ve only been into fragrances for a short time, and this Cigar de Remy Latour has entered my favourites. I’ll try to explain my experience as simply as possible: on several occasions I had the chance to smell it, but something didn’t convince me, so I decided to buy something else I preferred. This was due to the first impression of the notes, which I considered very strong and reminded me of my father or grandfather. But now that I’ve acquired it, it has surprised me. Using it on my skin, the first thing I noticed were the notes of lime, pineapple, laurel, patchouli, cedar, and tobacco leaves. In my opinion, it’s a perfume with a lot of personality. Taking into account the price, which is very cheap, it doesn’t make you underestimate this good perfume. As the hours pass, the aroma becomes easier to appreciate, lighter, and a bit sweeter. It transports me to a place of tranquility, a wooded area, and tobacco leaves. It will give you personality; I consider it for very masculine men with extravagant tastes. This perfume will bring mystery to your personality. It’s within my favourites.

  • I put it on 30 minutes ago and I don’t detect any tobacco, at least not like in London. The truth is, as the chords suggest, it’s fresh, spiced, and sweet. Unlike London, which is warm… a rich aroma, with a good balance between spices and fruits. I see it more for casual daily wear in winter and in spring with mild weather.

  • I just tried it. I bought it because of its similar chords to London. At first, the lemon gives it a citrusy touch. Unlike London, where on my skin the tobacco and leather emerge to gradually sweeten and become woody… I hope to smell the tobacco soon.

Who else has tried this Mystery Tobacco by Carolina Herrera? (I bought it on a trip and it was quite odd). Well, Cigar de Remy Latour would be its eau fraîche version. I don’t know who copied whom, but there is something very close here. You can smell laurel, wood, pineapple, pear, and then that floating pipe tobacco that lingers and returns. It’s the perfume of a modern pirate on his yacht. Exotic and intoxicating, good potency, not toxic, addictive if you get into the habit of applying a little. If it were an EDP it would be fabulous… but the price-to-quality ratio is the best I’ve found.

I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised by the price. I adore that tobacco note; it’s potent for the first few hours, and although I can’t smell it anymore, others certainly can. I’d estimate it lasts up to eight hours. For the price, it’s an excellent fragrance, mind you, it’s strong and not for everyone’s taste.

I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised by the price. I love that tobacco note; it’s potent for the first few hours, and although I couldn’t smell it myself, others could after six hours. I estimate it lasts up to eight hours. For the price, it’s an excellent fragrance, but be warned: it’s strong and not for everyone’s taste.

Ufff, what an exquisite scent. A well-balanced tobacco that is never invasive, it’s a captivating aroma. I used the sample from the sticker on the middle of the bottle, hoping the reformulation hasn’t finished. For the price, there’s no competition; highly recommended.

Ufff, what an exquisite fragrance. A perfectly balanced tobacco scent, never intrusive, simply captivating. I used the one from the sticker on the middle of the bottle; I hope I haven’t run out of the reformulation. For the price, there is no competition. Highly recommended.
