Cuba Milestone by Cuba Paris

An interesting fragrance with personality. The opening offers a juicy fruity accord that is clearly perceived at first, but fades quickly to give prominence to the birch and moss. The curious thing is that, when smelled from a distance, those fruity notes reappear, while up close the dry woods predominate. After approximately 1 to 2 hours, and very close to the skin, a sweet-fruity nuance emerges, and from afar the mossy notes appear. The projection and trail are typical of the Cuba house: moderate, acceptable for its price range. For what it costs, it offers more than acceptable performance and a coherent olfactory construction. I would recommend it especially for work environments—especially if you hold a position of authority—or for days when you want to project leadership. It is not a scent that seeks to please through sweetness; rather, it conveys presence and authority.

I would say it is the closest to Creed Aventus. When Creed Aventus launched back in 2010 and I started hanging around with wealthy people, smelling Creed Aventus was the most common thing for me. I always knew that smell and it fascinated me, but I never knew what perfume it was. When I bought Cuba Milestone, it reminded me exactly of that same Aventus aroma. Without a doubt, the best Aventus inspiration is this one and the cheapest!! You can go wild and it’s no big deal, it’s only $12 compared to Aventus’s $250. Club the Nuit is not even close to what this is.

It creates a bit of ambivalence in me. In terms of scent, I love it; it totally deserves the compliments it receives; it smells exquisite throughout its evolution. The only bad thing is that its formulation is an EDT, so the performance in terms of duration and projection is low. If you like it, I would recommend buying SEVERAL bottles and basically bathing in it. The day Cuba releases an EDP of this fragrance, I will spend my savings, because definitely the quality is there, it just needs to be brought out.

I have many much more expensive fragrances which obviously I love, but I have a special affection for this particular one because with this I started in the world of fragrances and it has a super rich smell. I love it. I don’t have the problem of fragrances not lasting on me, but I do recommend to others that they be generous with the sprays. Also, given its price, it doesn’t weigh heavily on the wallet to use and enjoy it.

I expected more from the Cuba house… They have conditioned me to expect excellent scents that closely mimic their inspirations, but here I only find a citrus opening followed by a very generic smell. I understand one shouldn’t expect too much for $10, but I insist, I was negatively surprised. They usually suffer from poor longevity, but they don’t miss the aromatic profile.

I have much more expensive fragrances that I adore, but I have a soft spot for this one because I started my perfume journey with it and it smells superb. I have no issues with the longevity, though I recommend others to be generous with their sprays. At its price point, it’s not a burden to use and enjoy.

Good friend Cuba gives us an inspiration at a fair price, ideal for home, errands, the gym, or after a shower if you like cypresses and don’t want to spend a fortune on perfumes. I use it post-shower and love it; I recommend it!

For the price, you don’t expect a beast like Club de Nuit, but it smells nice and is heavily inspired by Creed Aventus; it lasts a few hours and needs reapplying every couple of hours, but it’s worth it.

I assure you it is identical to Creed Aventus; I compared it with the original bottle, there is no difference. A smoky, potent citrus and masculine scent.
