I own the Discovery Set and this is my second attempt after a month with the sample; it simply doesn’t suit my skin. The top notes are aldehydic, so clean and pure they smell like old-fashioned laundry detergent, with an intensity and strength that completely masks everything else. The violet is barely noticeable. The opening scent takes a while to settle, yet it continues to dominate with that soapy character without any change. Although the brand markets it as an essence to help you sleep and relax, I certainly wouldn’t wear this perfume to bed.
