  • It’s sweet but not cloying at all. The orange blossom, vanilla, and bergamot are very noticeable. It lasts about 5-6 hours with a soft sillage. I consider it ideal for all year round and daily wear, though in summer it’s better for evenings or cooler days. It smells similar to Scandal EDP and the bottle resembles La Belle Le Parfum.

  • Exquisite fragrance, sweet and vanillaised. The citrus is very noticeable at the start, along with the neroli I love. Excellent for everyday wear.

  • On me, it smells basically of caramel and coffee… very much in the vibe of YSL Black Opium and almost identical to Britney Spears’ Prerogative, although those notes aren’t listed. I don’t detect the listed notes and the floral doesn’t emerge. I expected a white floral with vanilla, but it’s a gourmand dry-down. It smells good, but it didn’t meet my expectations.

I’ve smelled this before in another brand, perhaps a more expensive one, but it doesn’t smell better here. It’s a good perfume, yet too heavy; I’ll try it in winter. The first hour is cloying, but the burnt caramel becomes more bearable later. Given the price, it’s acceptable and suited for winter; I’d gift it to someone who enjoys dense scents. I insist, it’s very heavy; I wouldn’t buy it blindly even if it were on sale.

I’ve smelled it before on another, perhaps more expensive, brand, but that doesn’t make it smell better. It’s a good perfume, but too heavy (I’ll try it in winter). The first hour is cloying, then the burnt caramel becomes more bearable. For the price, it’s decent and suited for winter. I’d gift it to someone older who enjoys dense perfumes. To reiterate, it’s heavy; I wouldn’t buy it blind even if it were cheap.

  • It starts fresh with citrus, but the flowers quickly take over, which I love. In the dry-down, it leaves a very sweet caramel and vanilla trail, like dulce de leche, not the honey found in Scandal. It’s a sweet orange blossom vanilla; it reminds me of my grandmother’s little bottle and her water with medicinal orange blossom drops. As it dries, it blends with gourmands like Scandal or La Petite Robe Noire Intense. I enjoyed it in a decant and will add it to my collection. For that sweetness, it’s best for fresh days, day or night, with a warm aura perfect for the cold.

  • The opening is fresh due to the citrus, but the flowers I adore appear quickly. It finishes with a very sweet caramel and vanilla. It’s the sweet side of vanilla, which is why I don’t perceive it as Scandal, which has honey. Dance Red Midnight is more about sweet vanilla orange blossom. It reminds me of my grandmother’s orange blossom, which she used in water to cure herself. As it dries, it resembles gourmands like Scandal or La Petite Robe Noire Intense. I have a decant and enjoyed it; I’ll add it to my collection. Due to the sweetness, I think it’s best for fresh days, though it can be worn day or night. It has a warm aura and is just right for the cold.

What a surprise! It smells very much like Ilia Secreto by Natura but softer, like a junior version. It’s not a citrus opening but rather a sweet fruity one. The sweetness persists throughout, and as it dries down, the white flowers emerge with less sugar. Medium sillage and lasts 3-4 hours. It’s an EDT. I adored this gift because I love Ilia, but the original was too much for daily office wear; this is the lighter version, so it’s excellent!

I love it; it’s incredibly enveloping. The orange blossom and vanilla are very prominent, and it lasts longer on clothes than on skin. It could do with a bit more longevity and sillage, but it smells fantastic for winter. It’s not heavy, so it’s perfect for the office.

  • I liked it quite a bit; on me, it’s just like Givenchy’s L’Interdit. Moderate trail, lasting about 6 hours on skin, quite close to the skin; however, on clothes it lasts a bit longer. The original lasts all day. For those who can’t buy the other and want to try it, it’s an excellent alternative.

  • I liked it quite a bit; on me, it smells exactly like Givenchy’s L’Interdit. Moderate sillage, lasts about 6 hours on skin and a little longer on clothes. The original lasts all day, so for those who can’t afford it and want to try it, this is an excellent alternative.

  • It’s not ugly, but I wouldn’t wear it. The neroli and vanilla are the most noticeable notes. That animal and talcum touch doesn’t convince me; it’s not my style. It lasts 4-5 hours clinging to the skin with little projection. For the price, you can’t ask for much more.

  • It’s not ugly, but I wouldn’t wear it. The neroli and vanilla are what I smell most. That animalic and powdery touch doesn’t sit well with me; it’s not my style. 4-5 hours very close to the skin; it doesn’t project. For its price, you can’t ask for much more.

  • I picked this up today, 19/11/2022, drawn by that lovely note of neroli I adore, much like in L’Interdit. However, the vanilla is so potent it prevents the neroli from shining through. It bears a striking resemblance to Olympéa Legend; in fact, they are almost identical.

  • I just bought it today, 19/11/2022. I purchased it because the neroli note is one of my favourites, where it stands out as in L’Interdit, for example. The neroli is noticeable at times, but the vanilla is so strong it doesn’t let that note stand out more. It’s very similar to Olympea Legend; I own it and the truth is they’re too alike.

  • It’s a delicious perfume; despite coffee not being listed as a note, I get that sensation from it; it’s a very rich chocolatey fragrance, excellent for a night out. Putting it on generates compliments.

There are so many excellent perfumes at an incredible price that one wonders why anyone would opt for a bathroom spray called Shakira…

  • lunattyca

I love it; I’m a big fan of vanilla combined with flowers and gourmand essences. It reminds me of other scents I can’t quite identify, but it’s not an aroma you’d say ‘I’ve never smelled before’. I feel it’s creamy and warm, as if there’s an undeclared caramel note. As it settles on the skin, I feel it’s very in the style of Carolina Herrera; I can’t recall which one specifically, but it has that vibe. Edit: Smelling it among my perfumes, I feel it’s very similar to Kriska Sonhos by Natura. That creamy, sweet, warm, and gourmand sensation.

  • Kharynbranchet

There are so many excellent perfumes available at an incredible price that buying a bathroom fragrance called Shakira seems utterly mad.

  • genezaret

I bought it for the blueberry and vanilla notes and have already used more than three bottles. For me, it’s an ideal EDT for cold weather; when summer started in Buenos Aires, I put it away as I didn’t like it, perhaps due to my skin’s pH in the heat, but in the cold it fixes well on skin and clothes, smells soft, and highlights the vanilla with the blueberry. The bergamot’s acidic touches are subtle. No one has praised it up close like others; I get the impression of a short trail that’s noticeable when greeting someone. It’s not cloying; I recommend it to those who prefer something sweet but subtle.

  • Cat_duchess

I find it pleasant; I own it and enjoy it, but it does feel a bit synthetic and somewhat flat, without much development.

  • Tiny Taylor

It’s the only Shakira perfume worth buying for its longevity: it lasted 6 to 7 hours on my skin and projects well. Although it smells slightly synthetic, it reminds me a lot of Olympea Legend. It’s affordable and a great alternative.

  • I just tried it. On me, it’s sweet-floral (in that order), and what I feel most are the neroli and blueberries. I see it more for fresh or cold climates. On the skin, it lasted only two hours, and on clothes up to four. For now, it’s just a ‘like’. It reminds me a bit of L’Interdit. Edit: with continued use, the neroli scent seemed very invasive to me—a cloying, overly sweet herbal note. I no longer like it and won’t be buying it again.

  • The first thing I notice is sweet neroli with an acidic touch (I suppose the blueberries), especially at the start. Then the vanilla drops in a gourmand way that reminds me a bit of Black Opium. I also sense a spicy side, though it’s not declared. I’m not a huge fan of Shakira, but this one has pleased me immensely. On my skin, it has a decent longevity, which surprised me. Like others, it’s for fresh or cold climates.

  • Natalia98

I adore Shakira’s Dance perfumes, and this is a real hit. I’ve had it since mid-2022 and should be finishing it as I’m running low, yet I already have another full bottle ready to use. It smells enveloping, sweet, and cosy, very much a winter scent; I never see myself wearing it in summer as it would overwhelm me. I think the notes combine brilliantly to create such a unique aroma; it’s almost my favourite in the line, although Dance Rose puts up a fierce fight for the spot.

  • silvinadmoreno

It smells fresh and futuristic. On my skin, the blueberries, neroli, and jasmine dominate with a sweet, characterful touch. It projects well and lasts about six hours. I love it; it’s worth it because it’s cheap, lasts a long time, and smells absolutely delicious.

  • What a brilliant perfume. The opening is stunning, and as it dries down, you can detect a luxurious vanillaised neroli. The patchouli fades quickly, but I guess there’s vetiver hidden away that gives it a prettier touch and lingers on the skin. Seven hours and it smells spectacular; what a precious fragrance. 🥰

  • Nahuellperfumestexas24

Shakira’s Dance Red Midnight… I adore it because it’s so similar to Givenchy’s L’Interdit. I don’t hold back on praising its own creation because it’s inevitable to compare it with that icon, and that’s exactly why I’m obsessed. I really enjoy it. This flanker is more similar than Dance Midnight, which is why I bought it too. I enjoy both so much that I don’t hesitate to reapply after six hours, which is what I’ve noticed for longevity on the skin. If you can’t manage with Givenchy’s L’Interdit at an event, this by Shakira is a good option. I adore the neroli note; it’s my favourite flower in perfumery. I recommend it for a casual, chic, and sexy look. Perfumes and more… Nahuell.

  • JuanaBanana

It starts fruity and dries down to sweet neroli. It’s lovely, but it doesn’t last at all—barely two hours on the skin.

  • The scent is rich, but in the dry-down there’s something that doesn’t quite sit right for me; I can detect a synthetic touch that takes away from the full enjoyment. It’s decent for the price, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Gaby Iglesias

What a gorgeous scent; it looks luxurious and, despite being a celebrity EDT, the quality is top-notch. It lasts well even though the trail is soft, with zero alcohol burn. The neroli is the star, opening with a delicious blend of red berries and caramel. I absolutely love wearing it and recommend it if you like L’Interdit Intense but don’t want to spend so much—it’s the perfect budget alternative.
