Dance Midnight by Shakira

The opening is very sweet and fruity, but it doesn’t work for me; however, it improves once it dries down. It’s not a dupe of Good Girl, although they share notes. It smells like cheap, old-fashioned feminine perfume with a 90s vibe. Longevity and sillage are average.

Dance Midnight… is a beauty; it makes you feel pampered and special. It’s sensual, exotic, and elegant. Despite reminding me of several famous perfumes, it’s a fragrance that is enjoyable to wear. It bears a strong resemblance to Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl, but nothing like Trussardi’s Sound of Donna. The price is good. On my skin, it lasted about six hours, and longer on clothes. The sillage lasts for the first hour, then it becomes a personal delight. Everyone loves it. It’s worth it. Perfumes and more.. Nahuell.

Bought blind and… I liked it! I had doubts because I hadn’t tried it and didn’t know what it would smell like; I bought it because I’m a fan of Shakira and it was one of her bestsellers. At first, when I applied it, I didn’t entirely like it; to my nose, it seemed very strong, not fruity or sweet (as I prefer), so I thought about keeping it just for collection. However, I decided to give it another chance and wore it on a cold, windy day, and I must admit I was surprised by the different scent it took on in that weather, as if it blended. I read several negative reviews about longevity, but on me, it lasted over five hours and stayed impregnated on my clothes; I don’t know if it’s my pH, but it did last on me. I perceive the aroma as sweet; at the start, I only noticed the pink pepper, and when it dries down, it smells of cocoa and vanilla. Longevity: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10.

I know this perfume because my aunt wears it, and whenever she uses it, I ask what she’s wearing. It’s a perfume with good sillage that smells very much of vanilla; I love it!

It reminds me a lot of Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl, from the same Puig house. The bottle is gorgeous, and it’s an economical version of the Carolina Herrera one. It has good sillage and longevity.

At first it’s floral and vintage, but once it dries down on my skin it turns into vanilla with cocoa and liquor. Mmm, I really enjoy it, although it doesn’t last or project as much, but for the price it’s excellent.

At first it smells imported, but then the breeze fades. Within minutes it’s a floral soap scent, like benzoin or licorice, with a vintage vibe but cheap on my skin where it doesn’t dry down. After 4-5 hours it’s very skin-scented and projects nothing. For the price, you can’t ask for more.

To me it’s delicious and reminds me of Michael Kors Starlight Shimmer. It lasts about 5 hours on my skin and is absolutely rich.

I’d give it a 10 for the scent; I like its softness and freshness, but it projects nothing and lasts barely on the skin for four to five hours. A personal preference, but very soft.

It does remind me of Good Girl, but softer. It smells mostly of vanilla with cocoa; the opening is fruity, but I don’t detect the florals. It’s very gourmand, excellent value, but with very poor longevity, like all Shakira perfumes on my skin.

I find it very sweet and it doesn’t remind me of Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl, although many say it does. To me it smells like a men’s fragrance, but well, everyone has their own opinion.

It has an elegant air at an excellent price, but it has a major drawback: it doesn’t last at all. It reminds me of Lancôme L’VEB. Pity its short trail and longevity.

It’s 80% similar to Good Girl, especially in the opening where the freshness of bergamot and the fruitiness of the pear are noticeable. However, once dried the resemblance decreases. I find it sweeter and caramelised than the GG, and I don’t perceive its floral notes. It lasts about 4 hours with moderate projection. It’s very pleasant, an accessible alternative for all budgets.
