  • Karen Gómez

A unique fragrance; I loved it since my grandmother wore it when she was nine or ten years old, which is very strange (in my opinion). What a shame it is discontinued; I still have the bottle she used, and although the last bit is deteriorated, I smell it from time to time and it still has that floral, warm, and very delicate sensation. I recommend it to anyone who can acquire it. If anyone knows of a dupe or similar, I would greatly appreciate it being mentioned; it was a truly unique perfume. Best wishes.

  • I discovered this perfume today out of curiosity, having never tried its older sibling, Dolce Vita. It is a nostalgic gem: a deep yet non-penetrating aroma. It possesses strong personality without being abrasive. It isn’t for everyone; it’s not one of those scents where you smell it once and decide yes or no. It deserves a moment for you to stop and concentrate on it. It captivates when you give it your attention. It is a treasure for a handful of women, not for the masses. I couldn’t bear for someone to buy this, leave it in a corner, and forget about it. Dior doesn’t deserve it. It’s a shame it is discontinued, snatching away the love of so many. A pity; it only enriches my love/hate relationship with Dior and their habit of leaving excellent things behind. I detect plenty of white pepper, sandalwood, osmanthus, and vanilla. I detect nothing citrusy; it surprises me that it contains bergamot and mandarin, as I can’t distinguish them. It smells like a delicate yet firm woman gazing at a garden at dusk. It lingers in olfactory memory and doesn’t go unnoticed. It deserves more. It is an excellent, unforgettable perfume.

  • A beautiful, soft, and romantic floral fragrance, nothing aggressive. Ideal for springs and summers. It resembles J’Adore, like its little sister, but I prefer this one. It doesn’t last long, about four hours, and the worst part is that it’s DISCONTINUED. What a pity…

  • A beautiful floral fragrance, soft and romantic, with nothing offensive. Perfect for spring and summer. It shares similarities with J’Adore; I’d say it’s like a younger sister, but I certainly prefer this one. Ideal for warm spring days. However, it lacks longevity, lasting only about four hours, and the worst part is that it is now discontinued. What a pity…

  • It bears no resemblance to Dolce Vita whatsoever; these are two completely different scents.

  • It’s distinct from the original Dolce Vita perfume. I perceive citrus combined with florals in perfect balance, not cloying. Its trail is long-lasting and longevity is moderate. As Karen says, it’s a unique perfume. Best wishes.

  • Different from Dolce Vita, it smells of citrus and florals in perfect balance. It’s not overpowering; the trail is long-lasting and longevity is moderate. As Karen Gómez says, it’s a unique perfume. Kind regards 🙂

  • Delicate, subtle, romantic and ultra-feminine. I see it as ideal for all year round and almost any occasion. It’s not festive or attention-grabbing; it’s so discreet that on a first date, it projects delicacy and sweetness.

  • I completely agree with Karen Gómez and Modadicta… I miss it and would love to know if there’s any fragrance that truly resembles this. Thank you.

  • I totally agree with Karen Gómez and Modadicta… I’m intrigued and would love to know if there’s any scent that truly resembles this one. Thanks!

  • Another gem retired; every perfume has its story. This was my companion through summers of freedom and happiness, that dolce vita freshness. Lying on the grass, gazing at the sky and feeling the sun—that was Eau de dolce vita. Another sad loss for Dior.

  • Another discontinued gem that tells a story. This perfume accompanied me through beautiful summer days, sunrises full of freedom and happiness. That Dolce Vita freshness: watching the sky while lying on the grass and feeling the sun on my face. That was Eau de Dolce Vita. Another sad loss for Dior.

  • I picked up a miniature of this masterpiece: fresh and clean, without any soapy scent. It’s spring-like, floral, romantic and tender, yet not childish. I wondered what could possibly compare to it and found that no one had felt the same. What a pity it’s discontinued; I think I’d give it over my J’Adore. Later, I tried an almond and freesia oil from Natura, which smells exquisite but reminded me of my miniature. It’s not a dupe due to the format, but if Natura released it in EDT, it would be a good alternative.
