Elegance Cuiree is almost identical to Memo’s Italian Leather, but with less sweetness and a greener touch. It remains pure leather, though that ‘tomato leaf’ note often overlooked here feels fresher and earthier thanks to the vetiver, with frankincense and amber adding density without being heavy. As it dries, the leather becomes more animalic, yet nothing difficult to wear. I’m not a huge fan of the DNA, but it’s an interesting and more agreeable twist for most. Unisex, ideal for temperate climates with good performance; I think it’s a good perfume, even if I don’t feel I must own it. Rating: 7/10
