  At first, it’s a mix of pineapple and lavender, with the former feeling a bit synthetic. Then in the mid-stage, the iris stands out, lots of iris, but different from Dior Homme; perhaps less sweet because here the iris is accompanied by other flowers. After four hours, that impression of iris and lavender fades, bringing out the musk, amber, a touch of vetiver and moss, giving a drier finish. The trail is moderate to heavy if overapplied and lasts over 12 hours, closing right on the skin. It’s a young and distinct fragrance. If you don’t like pineapple or iris, it’s not for you. Although it has similarities with the DH, the latter is more elegant; this one is more informal. I see it as ideal for winter or cold nights to make the most of its striking notes. In some places it’s discontinued, but I found it for $55 for 100ml, an economical option compared to the DH, although in my opinion not better.

  Totally agree, it’s a very interesting fragrance. I’ve compared it to three beasts: Dior Intense, Jacomo for Men, and Declaration by Cartier. It smells like them but is much more wearable; it doesn’t emphasise the floral iris as much and captures that Cartier and Jacomo essence. The best thing is that it mutates over time, so I bought it blind. I picked it up in Chile on recommendation (contact in the profile) at a good price: $53, about 40,000 pesos. Between paying $126 for the DH Intense, don’t even think about it twice.
