  A surprising and distinct aroma. I smell the crab apple flower, a strange yet delicious scent alongside the osmanthus. Very original; the seller told me it was inspired by Normandy. As it dries, new notes emerge: the coffee, and it seems to have a very subtle licorice touch. After hours, it recalls Grand Amour by Annick Goutal mixed with those flowers. If you’re looking for something new and different, it’s a good choice. NOTE: although it has coffee, it has nothing to do with perfumes like Black Opium; on the contrary, it’s very fresh, but not citrusy.

  It’s true it’s different, but I notice the coffee note much more. The opening is soft, but like most Diptyque scents, it improves with time. I agree it’s a different coffee from Black Opium; this is real, good coffee.

  Starts sweet and fruity, like caramelised apple, but the osmanthus is barely noticeable. The freshness and ozonic touches soon clash with marine and salty notes, plus a soapy base that muddies everything with the fruit. The result feels a bit chaotic and doesn’t motivate me at all. Coffee adds body from the mid-notes, darkening the scent with a serious, odd touch, while sesame leaves a particular earthy note as it dries. Florabellio didn’t work for me; it’s very poor, without wanting to be politically correct. Projects little and sometimes smells like a failed L’Occitane Horizon. Rating: 3/10
