Fouad by Asdaaf: A Warm Spicy Unisex Perfume with Woody Accents

Fouad, from the Asdaaf label, is a perfume created for both women and men. Its opening notes of saffron, lavender, and bergamot give a bright, aromatic introduction.

The fragrance then moves into a heart of amber, cedar, and oud, before settling on a base of patchouli, musk, resins, woods, and leather. The overall effect is warm, spicy, and decidedly elegant.

Categorized as an amber-woody scent, Fouad offers a modern twist on classic oriental perfumery. The listed accords include lavender, citrus, powder, and a gentle spiciness, making it multifaceted.

The opening is brisk, thanks to bergamot's citrusy lift and lavender's clean touch. Saffron, however, immediately adds a deeper, more exotic nuance that hints at the warmth to come.

In the heart, the blend of amber, cedar, and oud is both comforting and refined. The oud is present but not dominant, allowing the other notes to shine while maintaining a resinous underpinning.

The base is where the perfume gains its staying power. Patchouli and musk create a soft, earthy warmth, while resins, woody notes, and leather lend a subtle smokiness and sophistication.

Fouad currently holds an impressive rating of 4.48 out of 5, based on 31 ratings, with three written reviews. This suggests a consistently positive experience among wearers.

This unisex perfume will suit those who enjoy rich, woody and spicy fragrances with an oriental feel. It is particularly suited to colder months and evening wear, but can easily be worn during the day.

In summary, Fouad by Asdaaf is a beautifully balanced unisex fragrance. Its warm, spicy character and strong user rating make it a compelling choice for any perfume enthusiast.

  1. I created an account simply to review this cracking perfume. As Kea said, this perfume wasn’t listed here before, so I bought it almost blind a year ago. It was sold to me as a dupe of 212 VIP Black, but it is far superior. It has excessive longevity, and you need about 5 washes to get it off clothing. The projection is beastly, and the scent is exquisite for those cold winter and autumn days. It can easily be used as an everyday scent, because it doesn’t cloy or tire. It’s probably the perfume that has got me the most compliments.

  2. This perfume is incredible, a hidden gem not many people know about. The price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable. Performance is very good: it projects very well for at least 3 hours and reaches 8 hours on skin without any trouble. The opening has a dark citrus punch, in the style of Precieux, which gradually softens to make way for saffron, dry woods and something spicy in the base. Although it claims to have oud, it’s very wearable, not like Opulance Oud. I particularly recommend it for daily office wear; even though the notes may seem very strong, it’s a wearable fragrance with a sophisticated and clean character that draws a lot of compliments, and at least in my experience, it doesn’t stain clothes ✨

A perfume I worked on, and I asked them to publish it, so finally this is the platform for the world to discover it. It is an original creation that doesn’t copy anything, and it has a ridiculously low price for the quality it offers. The aroma is a saffron citrus over a woody base, a very oriental and elegant scent but at the same time versatile, with very good longevity and projection. It has great balance in its composition; its equilibrium between weight and lightness is perfect.
