Arrived looking nice, nothing spectacular. Opens with citrus (bergamot and lemon) with sugary notes, like caramelised lemon. Then the florals and caramel emerge, adding softness and creaminess. I don’t detect cinnamon; the ginger might be there but gets lost among the citrus. In the end, it’s caramel and sugar clinging to the skin. Reminds me of Prada Candy, but younger and less sophisticated. Longevity is typical for ARDLP: around 3-4 hours. I see it as daily wear in mild weather. Although it works better in the cold, it also fares okay in heat with moderation, as it doesn’t project much.
Bought it hoping it would be more unisex like the original GDC, but it isn’t. At first, it smells floral, then settles into jasmine and caramel. I prefer the original.
