I’m not sure; perhaps these are different perfumes because I found none of the charm, beauty, or elegance here. The only thing I salvaged was the presentation. It’s a crude ‘inspiration’ of Aventus: synthetic, piercing, and sharp, with a herbaceous and acidic base. It lasted about five hours and never once seemed worth spending money on. Do not buy it blindly; the disappointment can be brutal. Nothing more to say; I hope it works better with your clothes.
A perfume I definitely recommend: it opens with a ripe, sweet, high-quality bergamot (sometimes mistaken for grilled pineapple), followed by an intense oakmoss (dry and cutting like pepper), which only softens slightly with blackcurrant, and so on until the end… Italian class, for a middle-aged man, well-dressed and versatile. It lasts six hours on me; it’s intense and eventually degrades into a different scent that can become overpowering. The closest thing to Aventus I’ve ever forgotten in my life.
If you travel to Italy and suddenly smell something wonderful on the street, you’re surely near a store of this brand. They’ve done a marketing masterstroke, flooding their shops with this perfume that smells amazing from afar and attracts you like a magnet; once inside, it’s hard to resist since it costs less than any designer brand and is a scent everyone likes, projecting elegance, freshness, and class, just like the store. Clearly inspired by Aventus but with its own twist that makes it not an exact clone: it lacks the smokiness and is greener and woodier. I hope stores like Álvaro Moreno and Springfield learn, because personally, their scents drive me away from their shops, and I prefer to be there as little as possible.
