Created by perfumer Mustafa Adam Ali, Hadhara is The Spirit of Dubai's 2026 woody Oriental for women and men alike.
The composition opens on aromatic and resinous notes, turns creamy and sweet through the middle, then rests on amber, woods and vanilla.
At the top, absinthe, bergamot and citrus meet cypress, juniper berry and cypriol, with elemi resin, incense, pink pepper and saffron for lift. Iris, orris root, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose and osmanthus lend a soft powdered floral character, tempered by caramel.
The middle retains incense alongside amber, myrrh, geranium, rose and tuberose, set over patchouli, sandalwood and cashmere wood. Leather, honey, milk, ice cream, vanilla and chocolate form the more indulgent strand, brightened by a return of pink pepper.
The base develops amber with bourbon vanilla, vanilla absolute, caramel, chocolate and tonka bean. Labdanum and balsamic notes add resinous weight, musk brings suppleness, and oud wood, patchouli, sandalwood and vetiver underpin the woody structure.
The general impression is woody, aromatic and ambery, seasoned by fresh then warm spice, sweetness and balsam. Hints of white flowers, a talc-like softness and an earthy edge provide balance and definition.
It should appeal to those who enjoy unisex woody Orientals with a powdery gourmand side, marked incense and resins, and a vanilla, caramel and tonka close. Made for wearers who favour full, spiced and creamy trails.
Altogether, Hadhara reflects the lavish manner of The Spirit of Dubai in an orderly shape: aromatic green opening, spiced creamy centre, ambery woody close. A fitting choice for devotees of the Oriental genre with a sweet tooth.
