Starting with a peppery touch, Hegoa is a citrus EDT packed with green tea and musk that, on my skin, turns bitter and doesn’t suit me. It’s unisex, ideal for those seeking something clean and subtle for summer, though there are similar options at a better price. It lasts 7-8 hours but stops projecting after an hour and a half. I’m sticking with Tommy Girl, which is sweeter, minty, refreshing, and offers better performance and value. Scent 2/10, Longevity 7.5/10, Sillage 5.5/10, Value for money 3.5/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy again? No.
It opens with a strong hit of alcohol. Immediately, the citrus notes shine with a warm undertone, like a wicker basket full of fresh lemons. The woody, musky, and amber base doesn’t dominate, but it gives the citrus a mature, semi-formal character. It’s not for me, but I recognise it’s a good blend.
Citrusy, muted, subtle, and ghostly. It smells like nothing now, even though I applied the sample just 15 minutes ago.
