  • It’s the Lush soap turned into perfume, and for a body spray, it lasts forever. It’s the #ultramegaconcentrated version of the soap, ideal for cold days if you want to be a walking caramel. It has a strong citrus opening, especially the orange; half an hour after applying, the honey and caramel come through. I feel like a bread pudding covered in caramel, and I love it. If you’re looking for a realistic gourmand fragrance, this is one of yours. 10/10

  • It has projection and longevity off the charts. It smells like toffee with lots of honey and sugar, like a little caramel, with that generic Lush soap base that’s noticeable even from outside the shop, as if you’ve stepped into their vegan fantasy world where even the coloured balls make you dream. That feeling probably comes from the orange note. I used to love it: the first time in the store I fell in love, and when I tried it at home without applying it, it conveyed peace and tenderness. But when I actually used it to go out on a cold autumn morning, it became so sweet it turned cloying. I gave it a second chance and, literally, I nearly fainted on the tube. What a terrible day I had! And yes, I mean day, because to top it all off, its performance is excellent. I love sweets, but this body spray is too much. If you like sugar in huge quantities (like in Britney Spears’ Fantasy), you might enjoy it. With low temperatures, of course 😬

  • It has excellent projection and longevity. It smells like toffee with lots of honey and sugar, like a little caramel, and with a hint at the base, that generic Lush soap scent that’s noticeable even from outside the shop. That sensation in my nose is probably due to the orange note. I used to love it: the first time I tried it in the store I fell in love, and when I got home, smelling the spray conveyed peace and tenderness… until I started actually using it. I put it on to go out on a cold autumn morning and on my skin it became extremely sweet, even cloying. I gave it a second chance and what a time, literally I nearly fell flat on my face on the tube. What a dizziness! What a terrible day I had… and yes, I mean day, because to top it all off, its performance is excellent. I love sweets, but this body spray is too much. If you like sugar in huge quantities (like in Britney Spears’ Fantasy) you might enjoy it. With low temperatures, of course.

  • Arrived today; being so sweet, I expected to fall in love with its sweetness, but something just doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t like it at all and can’t quite pinpoint the missing note, but I’m swapping it. It does have good longevity; one spray on my clothes this morning still smells incredibly strong and lasts a ridiculous amount of time on fabrics. If you like it, for the price it’s brilliant and the quality is good. The best thing about Lush is that you can return it if you’re not convinced, so you lose nothing. Although this wasn’t for me, I’m happy with Lush; their service is incredibly friendly, it arrived super fast, and I love their philosophy. I’ve already ordered LGTR and will keep coming back! 💖

  • Arrived today, and while I love the sweetness and thought I’d adore it, it hasn’t quite convinced me. I’m not sure which note is off, but I’m returning it. The good thing is it lasts a long time on clothes; a spray from this morning still smells the same. If you like it, for the price it’s incredible and the quality is top. The best thing about Lush is you can return it if you don’t like it, so you lose nothing. Although this wasn’t for me, I’m happy with the service (they’re super friendly), the incredibly fast delivery, and their philosophy. I’ve already ordered LGTR and will keep coming back to them. 💖

It’s one of the most disappointing perfumes I’ve ever tried, even though I’m a gourmand fanatic. It smells like synthetic air freshener, so cloyingly sweet it’s actually disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

  • It’s one of the weakest perfumes I’ve tried, and although I’m a gourmand fanatic, this smells like synthetic air freshener and is so sickly sweet it’s disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend it for a moment.

  • arhyana2003

I’ve always been a fan of Lush honey: the soap, the gel, and the scrub. In Chile, I kept asking when that fragrance would arrive… when it came out a couple of years ago, I bought it, and what a disappointment. I love the brand, but it smells strong and intrusive, very cloying. If you’re looking for something rich and honey-like, try Scandal or Scandal by Night instead; they’re addictive.

  • arhyana2003

I’ve always adored Lush’s Honey soap, Honey shower gel, and Scrubee oily exfoliating bar, and I always asked in Chile when the intoxicating fragrance of both products would arrive…. when it arrived a couple of years ago I bought it…. what a huge disappointment!!!.. I love the brand and its products…. but it’s a rather strong and invasive overly sweet scent – better if you want something sweet and rich that smells like honey, buy the Scandal / Scandal by Night perfume, which is an addictive sweet scent….

  • pamela perfumera

Disappointed. It smells like air freshener; it’s synthetic and generic yet lasts for many hours. I love honey in fragrances, but I can’t find it anywhere here; this is just a sweet palette, something like raspberry lollipops, with the caramel and a slight acidic touch. Unfortunately, nothing more to add 🙁

  • I don’t like it at all :(! I thought it would be a sweet toffee/caramel scent, but no, the only thing I smell is an extremely strong and super synthetic citrus. I don’t quite understand why it’s described as such a sweet fragrance because there’s nothing sweet about it. In contrast, Let the Good Times Roll by Lush is indeed a sweet and cloying fragrance.

  • I love it, even though the negative comments make me sad. Lush fragrances are in a world of their own and don’t make sense to compare with commercial perfumes; the experience is different. It’s a sweet and tender scent where the citrus and toffee come out very soft, very ‘Lush’. It doesn’t smell like typical vanilla, so it’s not that common sweetness; I detect lots of citrus, honey, and perhaps a herbal touch. I think it suits all year round because it’s soft and conveys tranquillity. I like it because it breaks with traditional gourmands: if you’re looking for something classic, this isn’t for you. I also don’t recommend buying blindly, as Lush perfumes work differently. The projection and longevity are incredible for a body spray.

  • I quite like it; I feel a bit sad reading such negative comments 🙁 First and foremost, I always say that Lush fragrances are very different from those sold commercially, so there’s no point comparing them because the perfume experience is different. It’s a sweet and tender scent where the citrus and toffee are perceived very softly; for me, it’s a very Lush smell. It doesn’t have the typical vanilla notes so it’s not a common sweet scent; I detect lots of citrus, honey, and perhaps a slight herbal touch (?). Also, I think it suits all seasons because its scent is very soft and personally it brings me tranquillity. I like it because it feels different from traditional gourmands; if you’re looking for something classic and known, then this fragrance isn’t for you. Furthermore, I don’t recommend buying it blind because, again, Lush perfumes perform differently. Its trail and longevity are excellent considering it’s just a body spray!

  • This is my first Lush body spray and oh my god, a new addiction unlocked. The Lush world is very particular regarding fragrances and they don’t have a massive appeal, which attracts me to the brand even more. The first few seconds are a bit of a weird chemical note that doesn’t quite sit right, but as time passes, I fall in love more and more. I detect vanilla and honey; it’s sweet and I sense a buttery note in the dry-down that takes me to heaven. It hugs and accompanies you; I want to wear it every day, but it’s best for cold weather. I can’t imagine using this beast in South American or Mediterranean heat. Edit* using it in summer evenings or at night is completely valid.

  • Quite linear, though a very sweet honey comes through initially; minutes later it dries out like menthol. It reminds me of those menthol honey sweets you buy at the pharmacy. Like Strepsils or something similar.

  • It’s fairly linear, though it opens with very sweet honey. Within minutes it dries down to something mentholated. It reminds me of those mentholated honey sweets you buy at the pharmacy, like Strepsils or something similar.

  • The first time I wore it, I didn’t like it at all, but I gave it another chance and now I love it. To me, it smells of sweet fruits with a citrus touch like orange. When I’ve worn it, several people have told me I smell like strawberry, although I still can’t quite detect it in myself.

  • My Lush order just arrived with a soap in this scent and I fell in love instantly. Who doesn’t love a milk chew? It smells of toffee, milk chew, like dulce de leche, but for those of us living in Chile or where Calaf and Ambrosoli products are available, it smells exactly like Sunny sweets 💚. Obviously it’s sweet and gourmand, not for those who dislike smelling like food and prefer something fresh or discreet. It will be my next Lush purchase.

  • I agree with those who said it smells like Sunny sweets; it’s a super sweet toffee scent with a hint of honey. It doesn’t smell herbal or fresh as others claimed. Only at the very beginning do you notice a touch of bergamot, but afterwards it’s purely synthetic toffee/caramel dulce de leche with a musky base. It lasts several hours on skin and days on clothes. For me, it was too much; I simply can’t handle such gourmand aromas.

  • My version is the May 2020 body spray. It smells identical to the soap. It kicks off with citrus notes but on my skin it fades within seconds, making way for a sweet orange (I don’t find it particularly fresh) which transitions directly into creamy caramel, honey, and beeswax, almost like jelly. It’s a super cosy scent, ideal for autumn and winter (though I’ll use it all year round). It brings me memories of honeyed milk, warm towels after a creamy bath, perhaps by the fire. It’s incredibly sweet and has that dense aftertaste of the honey biscuits I used to eat as a child (Yayitas de Lu), with the slight sting of brown or toasted sugar. On my skin, it performs exceptionally well: it projects nicely for about four hours and then stays close to the skin for another twelve without any effort. This version seems more faithful to the soap, as I’ve read. I see it as perfect for both children and adults, slightly more feminine than masculine but still unisex for me. I highly recommend these sprays. Their performance makes many EDPs look ridiculous, and the price is unbeatable.

  • Knowing Lush was releasing a body spray with the scent of my favourite soap, I simply couldn’t resist. At first, it smells very alcoholic and for about 20 minutes gives off a strange note, almost faecal, which I’ve noticed in other fragrances such as Burberry’s Woman; I hope it doesn’t happen to you. Then it becomes what was expected: identical to the soap, a caramelised orange bathed in honey. I love it and its trail comforts me greatly. Perhaps I associate it too much with the soap ‘I’ve Washed the Children’ and it always comes to mind, just like with the Snow Fairy spray, which I liked but didn’t buy because it seemed like I was showering with the Christmas gel. The trail is good, but neither the longevity nor the sillage are as high as usual for Lush sprays. On skin, it doesn’t last more than 6 hours, something unusual for the brand. Scent 7/10, Longevity 6/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 4/10. Would I buy it again? Probably not.
