Tried it yesterday in-store and honestly it has very noticeable changes; nothing linear but very easy to like. Once dried after a few hours it reminds me of D&G Light Blue Eau Intense but with brutal quality. Great perfume.
Showcases brutal quality yet it’s a disappointment. Though I’m no expert I detect top-tier ingredients and a lack of novelty. Upon spraying it explodes with black pepper and juniper greenery projecting strongly for an hour and a half. Then comes a resinous incense soft and slightly sweet at first while the lemon (or yuzu depending on them) struggles to stand out. Everything is very ambered and warm despite the acidity. It doesn’t evolve further. Excellent longevity and high projection initially moderate afterwards lasting around 10 hours. Completely unisex and versatile for any occasion. Does it smell good and have quality? Yes everywhere. Is it novel and mind-blowing? No certainly not at £185; it’s worth it for the quality not the originality. Better to try a sample before buying. In short: it’s like a plain gold ring—it’s still gold but it remains simple.
