  Macaque Yuzu is a step up in quality compared to the original, which was very green and wild. Here, the yuzu not only provides freshness and sparkle but balances the wood and green aromatic notes much better. Additionally, I sense a soft amber base that adds depth without losing that initial freshness. I really like it; it seems like a very usable and tasty change, totally unisex, versatile, and with good performance. I would happily wear it. Rating: 8/10

  A delicious yuzu (that sweet-and-sour mandarin peel) wrapped in incense. It’s wood and citrus, with a resinous touch and a constant fresh base (pine?) that gives energy. At the same time, it calms. I love the opening. As it dries down, it becomes slightly amber, with a hint of animal, like fur or the tip of a monkey’s tail. In short: incense in the forest with hands wet with mandarin juice. I love it!

  If I had to define it, it’s peace and harmony. A relaxed fragrance that doesn’t shout, with a fresh, spicy yuzu opening blended with the green touch of juniper and a base of ever-living woods and subtle resins. Despite being citrusy, it’s neither aggressive nor effervescent; everything is measured and balanced. The juniper perfectly unites the acid with the woods. It doesn’t seek to excite or attract attention; it’s simply a well-made perfume, with top-notch notes and balance. Neither too fresh nor too woody, totally unisex, ideal for someone mature who values quality and execution. Cheers!
