India, that equal parts love and hate affair. Though I haven’t set foot there, this perfume has transported me: the sandalwood blended with curry and cumin smells like tikka masala, while that varnish note alongside the woods evokes shops selling imported furniture from there. The musk adds warmth. It’s cosy, spicy and different, truly original. Moderate longevity but a very good proposition; I’m already curious to try more from the brand. Thanks @Mithrandir for the sample.

This scent is a journey to India: spices, golden hues and polytheism. It brings me to the end of a summer evening, with magical light before a temple with a gleaming facade. Its sandalwood is natural, special, rich and creamy. It lingers on the nose and dries down cleanly, probably thanks to the musk. Easy to wear, well-blended and delicate. You can feel the affection of someone who has travelled and smelled the country firsthand. My favourite.
