Intense Tiare is paradisiacal, solar, unisex, and powerful. Montale has it clear: it offers trail and variety for any season. Sincerely, I don’t understand the lack of reviews praising it. The opening pushes summer with hot, salty breeze: beautiful tiare, some of the most beautiful and potent I’ve smelled. The fact that the tiare is potent is nothing when talking about Montale. You’re looking for summer scents that evoke beach and fun, here it is. The opening is masterful, without a syrupy aftertaste, very floral and balanced by the sweetness of the ylang and a juicy, pulpy absolute coconut, not synthetic. Half an hour later, after the floral intensity, it settles to become elegant; the rose in Montale always makes a good match. The reality is a sweet and creamy consistency thanks to a typical atomic vanilla of the house. Very attractive, emotional, and summery, it’s worth it for its power and sculptural performance.

  • I’m here to reaffirm what @Casablanca77 said; I totally agree. Their review prompted me to give this gem a try thanks to an exchange (reminds me of my days as a Pokémon trainer). The bottle is simple, like a pen, giving no clues about its contents (does that add to the excitement?). We sprayed it and ¡ooohhh! The opening lives up to its name. It’s the first perfume where I find the tiare so realistic; half smell like monoï and the other like synthetic flower, but this smells like a real tropical garden. The coconut and ylang-ylang are bodyguards that provide creaminess without eclipsing the star. At four hours, the vanilla appears, the sweetness intensifies, and the scent becomes milky like custard. The jasmine and rose provide a feminine base that prevents it from being an overwhelming exotic bomb. It’s a true ‘beauty and the beast’: 10 hours in full summer. With 3 sprays, you leave enough trail. It’s pure happiness noticing that the coconut, tiare, and vanilla notes are still there without having to smell your wrists like a bloodhound. It stands out among other tropicals for that achieved tiare note. It’s bottled summer love. Intense and precious.

Testing this gem and I love it. The blend of tiare, coconut, vanilla, and rose is delicious for summer. One caveat: I don’t find it as intense as I expected. When testing it alone, I can’t confirm others’ reactions, but I feel it stays close to the skin without projecting much further. Ideal for use during the day in good weather. Scent: 10, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Value for money: 6, Versatility: 9, Overall: 8.5.

I declare myself the number one fan of Intense Tiare. The opening is a summer beast, with just the right amount of coconut and brutal longevity. It’s enveloping, creamy like a vanilla shake, and perfect for afternoons or parties. Be careful in the heat because, right from the start, it’s a bomb: it’s beachy but not for actually going to the beach. Note, I don’t detect the rose at all. It’s not original, and although I prefer Guerlain’s Terracotta, Intense Tiare gives it 300 turns in terms of longevity and trail. They share notes, but they smell different: Terracotta is jasmine with coconut and vanilla, while Intense Tiare is tiare, coconut, and vanilla. If you like summery and festive scents, don’t hesitate.

It smells wonderful and is very good, but I already own the Monoi by Yves Rocher and they seem almost identical. Besides, we all know the price difference between Yves Rocher and Montale…

  • Of the styles I’ve tried, Intense Tiaré is the best. Unlike what I expected from Montale, which I love but which sometimes has an artificial edge, this smells very realistically of a garden by the sea, a seaside promenade on a sunny morning with a breeze among palm trees, and a cocktail at sunset. It’s cheerful, enveloping, carefree and very pleasant. It smells of tiaré with coconut and vanilla, an extremely rounded and creamy composition. I don’t detect the rose either. Moderate trail and longevity of nine to ten hours. It’s less potent than others from the brand but very good. It shares similarities with other scents in this line and notes, but Nuxe Le Prodigieux is more intense, less creamy, and more strident in its floral and formal aspects. Monoi by Yves Rocher feels more vanilla-heavy, cloying and synthetic. Sun Eau Delicieuse by Nuxe is fruitier and more synthetic. Sun di Gioia lacks coconut, lasts a mere breath, and has a very subtle trail. All of them last less than Intense Tiaré. When I finish any of them, Intense Tiaré will defend its place in my collection with dignity. Scent 8/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Trail 7.5/10, Value for money 7.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? I didn’t purchase it.

  • Nice scent, but it doesn’t kill me with love. It comes out intense as the name suggests, yet lacks affinity with my skin and disappears in three hours. I’ve never smelled tiaré before, so I’m not sure if it does justice to the flower, but it just doesn’t convince me. It’s distinct and pleasant, but it didn’t make me sigh like other scents from this house. What I look for in Montale is trail and longevity, which other fragrances from them provide. If someone gifted it to me, I’d enjoy it, but I wouldn’t pay for it, so it’s better to try first. Fortunately, I could, so I’ll invest in something else instead.

  • Excellent longevity, over eight hours on the arm. At first, I detect the coconut, quite aquatic and fresh. Then, within half an hour or so, the flowers emerge: a plasticous, sensual tiaré. As it dries, this blend lingers for another hour, featuring a modern rose that is both sweet and fruity, which surprised me. Afterwards, I notice creaminess, coconut and vanilla like a body lotion, which I love and find very sensual.

  • Lovely. Creamy, floral, intense… it recalls summer but not sunscreen; rather, a tropical garden. A real bomb that lasts all day and turns heads. I simply adore it.

  • It resembles the scent of the monoï sunscreens I use (I love that smell and that’s why I bought it) due to the tiare, of course, but with the addition of the jasmine which has a strong presence. It’s followed by a sweet and enveloping creaminess that doesn’t cloy. Perfect for a hot day with light clothing. It’s a white floral, tropical, and youthful scent that I love, nothing like the typical lady’s floral combo. It’s beachy, relaxed, feminine, and sexy in its just measure.

  • It smells like the Monoi sunscreen I use (which I love) because of the tiare but with a very present jasmine. Followed by an enveloping sweetness and creaminess that isn’t cloying. Perfect for hot weather with light clothing. It’s a white floral tropical and youthful scent that I adore nothing like the typical old-lady floral combo. It’s beachy relaxed feminine and sexy in just the right measure.

  • Enveloping, creamy, and summery scent. I’m a mega fan of sunscreen-style scents: I love Dolce Garden, La Nuit Tresor Nude, Coco Vanille, and now Intense Tiare joins the list, which was love at first sniff. You can feel the tiare is identical to that in Mancera’s Coco Vanille, as they come from the same house; the difference is that Intense Tiare feels more floral, with the flower enveloping the coconut and vanilla. The longevity is mega-lasting, on clothes it lasts days until you wash it because everything gets notably impregnated. When you walk, you leave a trail and that’s appreciated. If you’re looking for a summer scent that makes you feel in the tropics, this is for you.

  • Enveloping creamy and summery. I’m a huge fan of sunscreen-style scents loving Dolce Garden La Nuit Tresor Nude Coco Vanille and now Intense Tiare which was love at first sniff. The longevity is incredible; it lasts on clothes for days until you wash them everything gets impregnated and you leave a trail. If you want to feel like you’re in the tropics this is for you.

  • So delicious that it opened me up to the world of coconut perfumes (which I used to hate). What attracted me were the white flowers which I’m now obsessed with. Here they are round sweet lush and enveloping with a touch of dark musk. With two sprays you last all day wrapped in that warm blend that doesn’t shy away from summer. Beautiful grateful and charming.

  • It was so delicious and pleasant that it opened me up to the world of coconut fragrances (which I used to hate). The guiding thread was the white flowers, which I’ve been obsessed with. Here they are round, greedy, exuberant, and very enveloping, with a touch of dark musk. With 2 sprays it’s enough for the whole day, wrapped in the warm mixture that doesn’t shy away from summer. Precious fragrance, grateful, friendly, and charming.

  • A warm rich and enveloping aroma like a sun-kissed hug on the beach. The tiare flower is the star very creamy. For some reason two sprays don’t last long only about three hours but if I overdo it it becomes overwhelming so I prefer to reapply later.

  • Perfumiris

No one notices that it smells exactly like this year’s Monoi from Mercadona. I applied the lotion to one arm and the perfume to the other and couldn’t tell them apart; the longevity and texture are different but if you love the scent and don’t want to spend money on Montale it’s a brilliant alternative.

  • What a disappointment, literally I’ve wanted it for years. It’s the same as the worst Montale perfume for me, the Mukhallat.

  • I tried Intense Tiare today and it wasn’t what I expected. Very floral, fairly creamy, summery, but I don’t detect the coconut or a beach cream scent. It’s almost identical to Guerlain’s Terracotta, just more elegant and feminine. I wouldn’t wear it on very hot days or to the beach.

  • It opens with a blast of tiaré flower and within minutes sweet coconut wraps around it. It’s very linear but projects better than Coco Vanille, I simply love it.

  • If you love tiaré and jasmine, you’ll adore it. On my skin it’s a floral bomb of both, especially the tiaré, I suppose because of the very sweet vanilla. I don’t detect the rose or the coconut. I thought it would be a summer scent from the notes, but don’t be fooled: it’s heavy and very sweet. I tried it in summer and felt dizzy all afternoon, plus it lasts a long time. I reserve it for autumn and winter, I enjoy it immensely. It’s warm and long-lasting. I don’t understand why they call it a summer scent, it has warmth and weight. It also doesn’t match the Mercadona EDT, although both have tiaré. Try it first, it might surprise you. If you love tiaré, it’s a winner.

  • Silvi_del_agua

Dense, creamy and sweet, though not cloying. With high heat it can be suffocating, so I see it more for late spring or winter; with the cold it’s comforting. Although it’s linear, it’s pleasant and relaxing. A safe bet if you like tiaré. The first time it might feel synthetic due to the strength, but soon it becomes realistic. It lasts all day and is noticeable from half a metre away.

  • Intense Tiaré is my go-to perfume, always the first I reach for. The opening is invasive and strong, the flower shines and sometimes smells synthetic or like insecticide, but within minutes the delicious coconut and vanilla calm it down. I receive many compliments; there isn’t a day they don’t ask about it. Don’t overapply, it lasts and projects a lot; I apply it 3-4 times and reapply. Ideal for summer nights and any time of year in other seasons.

  • A rich and super summery scent. On my skin, it smells very similar to Mancera’s Coco Vanille, but a bit sweeter and less long-lasting.

  • The opening isn’t quite to my taste, but it shines when it dries down: a white, creamy, sweet floral, very versatile and pleasant. It’s not complex, but simple and beautiful, perfect for any occasion. Highly recommended for floral lovers for its originality.

  • Ideal for summer, the tiaré scent is synonymous with heat. Sweet without being cloying, it smells of tiaré all day and dries down to soft coconut and vanilla. It reminds me of Yves Rocher’s Monoi, but more elegant.

  • Woman in Love

Powerful and dazzling, with crystal-clear ylang-ylang and tiaré that are an absolute hit. Super long-lasting, it fills the air without asking permission. In summer, it’s pure bliss, a real luxury. It smells like Borabora by Giardini di Toscano; I own both and can’t decide which is better, they are absolute treasures.
