For iris lovers in the Dior style, the opening is similar to Dior Homme Parfum but with very distinct evolution and stages. Superior quality; it is the father of Dior Homme Parfum, featuring an elegant and sophisticated iris that gives way to an exquisitely accorded floral base. In my opinion, the best of the entire Confidential line from this brand. Lasting power and projection are excellent. Totally recommended.
An iris scent in the style of La Vie Est Belle… If you love it, you’ll adore this, but if, like me, you hate it, don’t even bother. I have a generous 4ml sample that I’ll keep forever because I simply don’t like it. It reminds me hugely of La Vie Est Belle but costs three times as much; what a rip-off to pay that for such a mistake. It’s a chocolatey iris where the violet and leather do something you’ve smelled a thousand times in Lancôme dupes. It lasts quite a while and you can tell, but personally I don’t like it; I wouldn’t buy it on any account, though if you enjoy iris, give it a try to decide if it’s worth the price.
Please bring this back; its run was far too short. I managed to grab the miniature and keep it like it’s gold. People compare it to Cuir Zélèbre, Dior Homme Intense or Valentino Uomo, but for me, they’re not the same. This has a darker, almost chocolatey tone. What a shame these fragrances are being discontinued.
