The opening smells like a barbers’ lotion or a classic from years ago, which is unusual as there’s no lavender or florals, just a strong citrus note of tangerine and bergamot. Soon after, patchouli takes over from the second hour. By two hours, the patchouli dominates with the citrus still lingering. At six hours, the patchouli fades and sandalwood rises with a touch of amber. By twelve hours, it settles with sandalwood and amber, blending with hints of tonka and musk. It’s a classic 1995 woody oriental, Jaguar style. With 1 ml, it lasts over twelve hours, leaving a heavy-to-moderate trail that drops to moderate and then weak but still present. Ideal for formal events in winter or autumn, day or night. If you’re looking for something classic without florals, this is for you.
