Not your usual perfume; it’s not for everyone. At first, it smells like dry saliva, but once it dries down, it becomes sweet and rich. I bought a 50ml decant, and although it’s good, I wouldn’t buy it for myself.

A VERY good perfume. I don’t understand how people in Colombia jump on the hype to buy poor catalogue scents when there is Jean-Pascal, which offers quality, variety, and good value. It has projection and trail well beyond the moderate range. It’s a scent between eighties and nineties, with green, smoky, and spicy notes. Many people used it at my university, but I think it suits someone aged 30 or 40 better. I see it as suitable for day and night in winter and autumn. From this house, my favourites not listed on Fragrantica are Brume (nocturnal and seductive) and de Nuit (diurnal and fresh). I recommend them.

A perfume that since the 80s taught the world to combine pineapple, green notes (which sometimes smell like cannabis to me), woods, and something smoky. When I tried Armaf’s La Club de Nuit Intense and felt that smoky pineapple, I immediately remembered this fragrance. Jean Pascal by Jean Pascal is less smoky, more green, with incense and vetiver in the dry down that make it more wearable. By the way, I’m testing the longevity between this and La Club de Nuit Intense, and I’ll tell you this one is winning the battle.

Olfactorily, although they don’t share many notes, it resembles classics like Halston Z-14, Jules by Christian Dior, and Coca For Men. This Colombian haute couture house seems to be the only one with its creations listed on Fragrantica. Fragrance: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 10/10, Price: 10/10.

It’s a classic of classics, quite potent and one of those that only elicits love or hate. Personally, I’ve always found it interesting, but when used without moderation, it becomes tedious due to its strength. I consider it woody and very masculine; though I must be honest and say I haven’t smelled it in years, it still lingers in my mind. It’s one of those fragrances hard to forget for its distinct identity and marked personality.
