Reviewed from a decant: it’s floral and linear, dominated by orange blossom; I can’t quite pick out the other notes. On paper it smells more powdery than on skin (I haven’t tried it on clothes yet). It leans feminine, even though perfumes shouldn’t have a gender, but this one breaks that rule. Should I buy blind? If you love that particular orange blossom note, it’s your fragrance. There may be cheaper options, but don’t buy blind or let yourself be swept away by forum hype or YouTube reviews, especially given Xerjoff’s prices.
At first it smells just like the honey from Naxos, but over time the vanilla, vetiver and white flowers do their work. Obviously there are more notes, but I don’t really notice them. It has a projection and longevity of 10-12 hours that leave you in no doubt.
In short, Xerjoff has taken the base of Oesel and added Naxos honey. The result is a bomb. Simply put, a fantastic fragrance, one of the best Xerjoff launches I can remember, alongside Monkey Special.

The honeyed opening, very similar to Naxos, is delicious; then come the citrus notes and it settles into those white flowers with a touch of fine tobacco. It’s spectacular: it lasts 10-12 hours and the projection is brutal. I’ve fallen in love with the 400, one of the jewels of JTC alongside More Than Words, from this essential collection. The only downside: the 50ml size at €180, let’s see how long they can hold that price.
