This is my first fragrance from the brand and I absolutely love it: fresh, citrusy, with that spicy hint of ginger and coriander that gives a freshly showered sensation. It smells somewhere between Acqua di Gio and Givenchy Play. Ideal for informal outdoor wear. The longevity was just about right, around seven hours, but as it’s so affordable, you can reapply without any issues. The cassette-style plastic bottle is very original and the spray is contained within the packaging. Perfect for everyday use.

What I liked most was that mint and lemon note, very fresh. The trail is poor, but I didn’t mind reapplying it because the scent is wonderful.

Before writing this, I applied the fragrance and had to put it on three times. I thought the bottle might be old, but checking English forums confirmed that the trail and longevity are very low. If we put that aside and focus on the aroma, azuriiita’s description is very accurate: it smells of rosemary, ginger, cardamom, geranium… it’s a cocktail of my favourite notes. If not for the poor trail, it would be in my favourite fragrances.

Rosemary and ginger are the notes most noticeable from start to finish. It’s good, but it depends heavily on skin chemistry; if it doesn’t suit you, it can seem too ‘seasoned’. On the right skin with the correct dose, it’s fresh and very pleasant. I didn’t detect lemon, only a citrus touch of bergamot at the beginning, then it fades to the base with sage and cardamom that reinforce the rosemary and ginger. I see it as ideal for a fresh morning or the late afternoon, to wrap yourself in something revitalising, although I think it works better in temperate climates.

The review by azuriiita is very clear, but to me it seems that, even if it doesn’t perform well on the skin, given Cavalli’s usual quality, it’s worth having a bottle. Apparently it’s already hard to find; have they discontinued it?

The scent is pure lemon, it smells clean. It’s an elegant and simple fragrance that sets you apart wherever you go. It’s very, very good and I haven’t used it in ages.

A bit sweet, with an odour that can be annoying, irritating and even ‘detestable’, as it resembles ‘sweat’, something truly unpleasant. The good thing is it has a low sillage and short longevity; on me it lasted about five hours clinging to the skin. Fortunately, I’m going to buy it again. Yes, it’s a youthful perfume or for ‘novices’ in fragrances; anyone with experience or who has tried good perfumes will reject it without hesitation.
A perfume for teenagers, yet with a more sophisticated touch than the rest of the range.
A slightly sweet fragrance, with a somewhat grating, annoying and even ‘detestable’ aroma, as it also feels like a ‘sweat’ smell, which is unpleasant. Fortunately, it has low sillage and low longevity; on me it lasted about 5 hours, always clinging to the skin. I repeat: it’s a youthful fragrance or for ‘beginners’; an experienced person who has tried good fragrances will reject it without hesitation.
Let’s not tarnish the review space: people have the right to hate or love a perfume and express it, but not to offend others. Tastes are personal. Comments that don’t relate to the fragrance and generate hostility will be deleted. This is the first warning; next time, anyone who offends will be banned.
If it’s an adolescent fragrance, it’s not sophisticated, it’s the same as many others, but it’s not bad; I think that says everything about this perfume: ‘youthful, fresh and not bad’. I was surprised it only has three notes; I would have thought it had some citrus or marine note, and the chilli stands out.
I really want to own this perfume, but where I am it’s hard to find or it’s very expensive, despite being Roberto Cavalli. Soon I’ll see what I do.
I agree with arp: over time it leaves a sweaty aromatic trail, I think due to the stated leather. I bought it to get away from the current perfume environment that emphasises overly sweet openings; it won’t be one of my favourites, but I’ll still use it regularly.
I didn’t notice a sweat smell. It opens spicy with a slightly sweet touch that fades quickly. What remains is a mix of familiar fragrances with that ‘generic’ men’s perfume aroma that many deodorants have, but with leather. What does stand out is the soft vetiver, which becomes quite pleasant in the final phase. Nothing extraordinary, but I can perfectly see a young person in casual clothes wearing it during the day.
Nothing too complex, few notes and no great surprises, but very fresh and pleasant. For the price, it’s a good option for everyday wear. I didn’t detect any sweaty or strange odours, and I liked it a lot. 7/10.
Nothing complex, few notes and nothing special, but very fresh and pleasant. It’s a good proposition for the price and perfect for everyday wear. I didn’t notice any sweat smell or anything odd, and I liked it a lot. 7/10.
I own this fragrance and it’s not very special, but it has its charm: you need to try it in favourable weather for the notes to stand out. Sometimes I feel it richer than other times; I think climate and pH play a big part. Its notes are fresh with a slight sweetness. In short, it’s a decent aroma for everyday wear, fresh weather and the office; it doesn’t disappoint. I like it because it’s uncomplicated and you can tell it has quality.
Not a special scent, but it has its charm: it needs favourable weather for the notes to come through. For me, sometimes it smells richer than other days; I believe the climate and pH make the difference. It’s usually fresh with a slight sweetness. In short, it’s a decent scent for everyday wear, cool weather and the office; it doesn’t disappoint. I like it because it’s uncomplicated and smells quality.
Smells good, but nothing new or original; it smells like a generic fragrance. It has an attractive design and a reasonable price. If you were looking for a Just Cavalli for men with a strong, challenging, and long-lasting scent as the packaging suggests, you will be disappointed. Same if you expected something like Xeryus Rouge for the pepper, or a Vetiver/Guerlain/Terre d’Hermès/Narciso Blue Noire/Encre Noire vibe for the heart; it will fail you too. It’s like a clone of Bleu de Chanel EDT, but without its quality, with a touch of soft leather that gives it personality, a nocturnal and rogue feel. Performance, longevity, projection and sillage: all moderate. For me, it lasts 4-5 hours with no perceptible sillage beyond the first 15 minutes. Without a doubt, the best of the Cavalli house in men’s EDT.
A youthful perfume but lasts four hours on the skin. The truth is, nothing special. Better to try another perfume.
Young and fresh, but it fades in four hours. Honestly, nothing special; better to look elsewhere.
