Descripción

Just Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this creation by Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin unfolds an olfactory pyramid where the opening of neroli gives way to the heart of Tahitian tiare flower, settling finally on a base of sandalwood.

This is my new fetish. It smells incredible… it releases that clean scent that I love so much. Stunning for summer.

  • I think it smells of wood, like sandalwood… on my skin it has a sweet touch, like soft vanilla, without being heavy, which gives it that lightness to wear it always. It’s rich, feminine and captivating. It makes you feel fresh by day and warm by night. It’s excellent, I would buy it if I find it on sale. I think it’s for all year round, it makes you feel good and others too. Perhaps men would like it just as much. I adore the trail, the longevity and sillage are top.

  • I think it smells of wood, like rosewood… on my skin it has a sweet touch, like soft vanilla, without being heavy, which gives it that lightness to wear all year round. It’s rich, feminine, and captivating. It makes you feel fresh by day and warm by night. It’s gorgeous; I’d buy it if I found it on sale. I think it’s suitable for every season, it makes you feel good and so do others. Maybe men would like it too. I adore the trail; the fixation and sillage are top-notch.

  • It smells super sweet, so I was genuinely surprised to find no sweetness mentioned in the technical notes. At first, it seems fresh and flirty, but it quickly reveals its claws and takes on a bold character. For an Eau de Toilette, the longevity has left me speechless: it lasts hours without losing intensity. It’s very sexy and feminine, and although I can’t deny it, I absolutely loved it.

  • I fell in love with this perfume the moment I smelled it… I didn’t wait long to go buy it; I can’t wait for summer to return to use it again…

  • Yesterday I was looking for the Acqua di Roberto Cavalli as an alternative to the Acqua di Gioia, as I read they shared common notes. I wanted something more formal for summer. In the first shop there was the perfume but no tester, and in the second there was no perfume and the tester was broken. Bufffff, how bad! I was just leaving when the saleswoman told me to try the Just Cavalli. I put my wrist down without enthusiasm, shaking my head; I’ve seen it countless times but never bothered to try it, it’s just that the bottle is so ugly… but destiny. Blessed destiny and cursed prejudices. We tend to try the pretty bottles and don’t give opportunities to the normal ones. I can’t believe it has only three notes: neroli, tiare flower, and sandalwood. I don’t smell the sandalwood, but I do detect some musk, tonka bean, or musk in the background. It’s a marvel: floral, fresh, clean, creamy, youthful, exotic, and sensual. Affordable price, 50ml for 37 euros. It’s similar to the Roberto Cavalli EDP I use on summer nights, but less intense, more radiant and youthful, suitable for all day (summer, spring), and if I continue to like it, for all seasons. In the end, there’s a creamy, soapy note that reminds me of The One. Incredible that it’s an EDT, but barely do my perfumes last, and this, two sprays, I detected it for about 7 hours and even more than 12 for the musk. I spent the day smelling my wrists and smiling. I love when you’re looking for one thing and find something unexpected that is a hidden treasure. It wasn’t love at first sight; the bottle is horrible to my taste (by God, please change it) and it stayed hidden for months without saying anything, but it was definitely a love at first sniff. How delicious, by God! Roberto Cavalli does not disappoint me.

At the first shop there was no fitting room, at the second they didn’t have the perfume and the mirror was broken. What bad luck! Just as I was leaving, the sales assistant suggested I try Just Cavalli. I rolled up my wrist unwillingly, shaking my head; I’d seen it a thousand times but never tried it, the bottle is so ugly… but destiny! Blessed destiny and cursed prejudices. Affordable price, 50ml for 37 euros. It resembles the EDP of Roberto Cavalli, which I wear on summer nights, but it is less intense, more radiant and youthful, suitable for all day: summer, spring and, if I still like it, other seasons. • I couldn’t understand how such an uncomplicated floral could please me so much until I read that it had tiare flower, and I love that scent. On my skin, it smells floral, neither strong nor soft. I like it for day-to-evening. It’s youthful yet elegant, and with reapplication, perfect for night. Those who like jasmine will surely like it. By the way, the little golden bottle with a mauve snake touch looks very cool.

  • AlianzRebel

It’s delicious. The tiare flower certainly transports you to the islands, the sea, and the sand… it’s sweet, a little balsamic, and muuuuuu persistent. It’s very pleasant and quite sweet, but in no way cloying or gourmand. I use it in winter because it’s very warm. A very pretty fragrance.

  • This perfume is totally creamy, so much so that it reminds me of some suntan lotions, and that’s why it evokes the beach, the sand, and the heat of summer… but curiously, I don’t see it as fresh or summery, perhaps because that creaminess makes it strong. It makes me think of cotton or talc (though they aren’t in the notes), but the standout note is the tiare flower; it’s easily recognisable and makes the perfume very distinctive and unique, nothing generic or seen before. It’s feminine and characterful. I like it.

  • Natalylopez

I detect a mix of tiare flower and jasmine, a bit tropical with a touch of toasted sand. It smells very good and lasts.

  • I bought it to complete an order, and the truth is, I don’t like the packaging at all: that combination of gold, pink snakeskin, and neon doesn’t appeal to me. The bottle looks very masculine, but… what a lovely scent! ‘Less is more’ applies here. It’s incredible that with only three ingredients it feels like a complex, high-quality aroma. I like it very much; it has a rich, warm freshness, it’s sweet, floral, creamy, woody, with low projection and medium longevity. I detect a masculine touch, perhaps due to the wood, but I’m sure I’ll finish the little bottle with happiness.

  • VainillaDulce

For me, this perfume is very tropical; I detect a slight scent of suntan lotion. Just Me is warm and pleasant, where the tiare flower takes the lead as the dominant note, although I also perceive a fair touch of neroli. It is creamy, feminine, and I insist, very tropical. It’s not a common scent, but rather cheerful and informal, lovely and simple, without excess or ostentation. Easy to wear, ideal for casual and daytime use, perfect for summer. It has moderate projection and longevity. 7/10.

For me it’s very tropical, I sense a slight scent of suntan lotion. Just Cavalli is warm and pleasant, where the tiare flower takes the lead, dominating the perfume, but I also note the right touch of neroli. It’s creamy, feminine and very tropical. It’s not a common scent, but cheerful, informal, lovely and simple, without excess or ostentation. Easy to wear, ideal for casual daytime use and summer season. It has moderate sillage and longevity. Rating 7/10.

  • I owe this discovery to this forum. One day, while it was on offer in the perfumery, I tried it and bought it immediately. I love it so much that I reserve it for special occasions, though I don’t rule out wearing it every day in winter; the tiare flower drives me mad and suits my skin perfectly. Many thanks; it had been a while since a fragrance pleased me so much. I want to try the Vanitas, which has a similar composition, to see how it goes. For now, I’m happy with my discovery.

  • Well… it disappointed me a little, perhaps because your reviews had raised my expectations. I can’t quite define it; it smells nice but doesn’t speak to me, and it doesn’t last long on my skin. After all, it is an EDT. For me, the Cavalli Essenza is the king.

  • rafajurado

It’s a woody floral fragrance that I don’t quite like. It seems soapy. It has medium intensity and lasts quite a while.

  • AlianzRebel

My fragrance for dinners with friends. For now, there isn’t any that can replace it due to the balance of essence, trail, and longevity. Until today, 25 November 2019, nothing is up to the mark… I say this with regret, perfumery must be in another place, not at least as we know it until now.

  • I found it at a brilliant price and, after reading reviews, decided to take a risk. It hasn’t disappointed me. Just Cavilli transports me to a holiday, to a Balinese bed having a cocktail. If I were going on a seaside getaway right now, I wouldn’t hesitate to take it. It’s a simple composition where the neroli and tiare are clearly noticeable. Finally, I have an aroma where this flower stands out without coconut. The opening is masterful, refreshing, with a wonderfully clean scent; when it dries down it gains depth with white flowers, soapy base, and citrus. It seems pleasant and easy to wear. I want it for spring and summer. It has a good trail and, being an eau de toilette, lasts excellently, similar to my favourites. It lasts half a day and fixes better on clothes. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Trail 7/10, Value for money 9/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • Creamy and clean tiare. I started using it in winter and I love it, although I can imagine being wrapped in it while strolling by the beach or on hot nights on a terrace. It’s no coincidence because my favourite essences are tiare, cherry, and white musk. It lingers even though it’s an EDT.

  • I found it at a crazy price and, after reading reviews, decided to take a risk. It hasn’t disappointed me in the slightest. Just Cavalli transports me to a holiday, to that Balinese beach bed sipping a cocktail. If I were to escape to the sea right now, I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it. It’s a simple composition where neroli and tiaré really shine through. Finally, an aroma where this flower stands out without the coconut. The opening is masterful, refreshing, and has an incredibly clean scent; as it dries down, it gains depth with white flowers and a soapy citrus base. It’s very pleasant and easy to wear. I already want it for spring and summer. It has good sillage and, for an EDT, the longevity is excellent, just like my favourite perfumes. It lasts all morning and is more noticeable on clothes. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 9/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • Its opening smells the same as Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door, but it’s less potent and less sweet. Perfumers only copy each other, don’t they have their own creations? I don’t like it because a perfume must be unique and the wearer should feel special, not smell the same as everyone else.

  • One more thing: this perfume smells the same as Revlon’s Red and Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door.

  • Personally I love it. I would wear it in all seasons. It leaves a very elegant aura that invites people to come closer. I would define it as velvety tropical white flowers, intense and luxurious. It definitely has an acceptable sillage; on the bus someone sat next to me and, although they were wearing a mask, they asked me about my fragrance.

  • Personally, I love it; I’d wear it in all seasons. It leaves a very elegant aura that invites people to come closer. I’d define it as velvety tropical white flowers, intense and luxurious. The trail is acceptable: on the bus, a person sat next to me wearing a mask and asked me about the fragrance.

  • CYNTHIA1980

Super feminine, the star note is the tiare. It’s a sweet, woody floral like Alien but a tropical version, utterly delightful. The trail and longevity are excellent even though it’s an eau de toilette; I adore it.

  • MissOlores

Extremely masculine on my skin. I tried it in a store and from the start until the final three hours, on my body it smells like a man’s perfume.

  • Sabry-españa

I love it despite the bottle; with just three notes they’ve created something precious and very original, feminine, woody, with a tropical touch. It lasts long and projects well, worth it for the price. The only thing that doesn’t work for me is that when it dries down, it smells very much like talcum powder.

  • I find it very difficult to give an objective opinion about this perfume. My mother gifted me the box of this perfume, with fragrance and body cream. I remember being fascinated by the gold and bubblegum pink presentation. A rebellious femininity that says: here I am, with my animal print, golds, and a touch of tacky. And if you think it is too much, find something less. I used it until it ran out and 10 years later I bought it again, both for nostalgia and because it is a fabulous perfume. As some reviews mention, it smells like a holiday at the beach. But not just any beach: a private white sand beach in Bali, where you have rented a wooden bungalow with all-inclusive service. In this context, it would be easy to think that Just Cavalli falls into the ‘sunscreen scent’ category, but that is far from the truth. In fact, I would see it perfectly suitable for a hot night out in a big city. Being a white floral followed by a slightly talc-like wood, it could easily fall into being a heavy or granny perfume. But it has a youthful personality, like a tropical flower. To this day, I would never have stopped to smell a white floral. A blunder. For me, this perfume does not resemble any other; I think in the simplicity of its notes lies its originality. Excellent longevity and sillage despite being an eau de toilette. It can be found very cheaply. I adore it.

  • I do not perceive it as a tropical perfume, rather as clean soap. From time to time you catch the Tiare flower, other times with a lot of imagination but hidden behind Marseille soap. It lasts about 6 hours, medium sillage. I will give it another chance in winter.

  • Ojos Claros

Intense jasmine scent in the style of the 80s Carolina Herrera perfume. A marvel. Eccentric and elegant floral. Very much in the line of both Carolina Herrera and Tom Ford’s Jasmin Rouge. Jasmine, neroli, orange blossom, and gardenia, just like Lady Million.

  • Mitafragance

I don’t recall why I bought this fragrance blindly; I was not familiar with these notes at all and it is not what I usually like. I had it stored for a few months because the first time I tried it, it seemed too strong and even outdated to me, but these days I have tried it again and it makes me feel like Jasmine from Aladdin. The truth is it is a mystery because I don’t quite understand its scent, but now it smells incredibly mysterious, bold, with a very restrained sweetness and a youthful vibe. It has a touch I would qualify as magical, like taking an afternoon and flying away on an Arabian carpet.

  • Perla Vencis

With creative noses like Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin, this perfume is a guarantee. In terms of its aromatic composition, I consider it a minimalist scent. This simple creation has captivated me. The opening is jasmine and bud gardenia; this aroma relaxes me and causes an olfactory addiction; I want to smell those flowers on my skin. The dry down is this floral combo slightly wrapped in wood. For me, it is a lovely aroma for spring and summer. The only ‘bad’ thing is that the opening is slightly alcoholic, but after a few minutes that sensation disappears and what remains on the skin is jasmine and gardenias with a fine layer of sandalwood. I know it does not declare vanilla, however, at times I perceive faint bursts of this sweet aroma.

  • I just bought it blindly because of its $16 price. It is super sweet; let’s see how it goes when I wear it to work.

  • A very interesting and rich perfume; in my opinion, it is an autumn scent. It is one of those perfumes where less is more, because if you apply too much, it can even make your stomach feel queasy, so it is better to start slowly. Without a doubt, I would buy it again.

  • Soyyoymiperfume

I bought it recently at an excellent price and I love it… at first that well-rendered Tiare flower comes out and gives way to a very fine woody scent… it is not a sweet gourmand at all, but it does have some vanilla touches, although not declared, which was a pleasant surprise for me and I would happily repurchase. I use it in the middle of summer and it is not oppressive at all; it is easy to wear and a few sprays are more than enough. I recommend it.

  • I was recommended it because I was looking for something with Tiare flower, which smells of beach and summer, perhaps due to its similarity to some sunscreens. It is true that at first it smells very much of Tiare and slightly sweet, yet fresh at the same time. I liked it a lot at first, but on my skin it didn’t last even an hour. Although it has a very good price, I wouldn’t repurchase for that reason.

  • Sweet and soapy Tiara. I like it, but it doesn’t drive me mad because on my skin that soapy note stands out and slightly mutes the florals; at the same time, that clean edge gives it a youthful feel and greater versatility.
