At first, the cypress scent can be a bit overwhelming, but then it softens and becomes pleasant. Recommended if you’re looking for something fresh, original and bold, though not for the classic understated wearer. It’s quite long-lasting and noticeable.
Normally, when I see a blue ‘summer’ or ‘tropical’ bottle with an aquatic gradient and notes like bergamot or lavender, I assume it’s just another fresh option on the market; I admit my prejudice here. But Paradiso Azzurro is unusually sweet (without being cloying), pleasant and perfect for the beach. It goes brilliantly with my macaw swimsuit and those green, humid Caribbean shores. I feel like I’m on the beach! Plus, it lasts well and on my skin, the middle and base notes dominate.
Paradiso by Cavalli is a pure floral paradise: jasmine, neroli and a woody, vanilla-tinged touch. These are fragrances that put you in a good mood, perfect for special days, walks or outings with friends. It’s excellent!
Fresh, aquatic and fruity, but it really shines when dry. The opening is a bit sharp, heavy and even slightly vulgar. However, over time, gentle waves of apple, peach and jasmine emerge, delicate and delicious. I wish the cypress came through more, as it’s my favourite note.
