  First off: it’s a delight, the rest is secondary. On Fragrantica (in English) they say it resembles D&G Light Blue, but since I haven’t tried that, I can’t confirm; it does bear a strong resemblance to Kenzo Homme Sport 2012, which I own. Unlike that Kenzo, the Just Cavalli Blue is far more delicate, less coarse. Although they don’t share many notes, it’s ideal for fresh climates (neither cold nor hot). The trail is poor, but the skin fixation is efficient. The citrus notes are so nuanced that I wouldn’t consider it purely citrusy; perhaps because spices like mint or pepper soften them. The base is clearly woody. I feel the top, heart and base constantly overlap and intertwine, blurring the boundaries. What a pity they’ve discontinued it.

  It is an olfactory jewel. As Shiseido Tactics points out, it is subtle, fresh and citrusy without being linear or cheesy; it is complex and nuanced to the point where you cannot distinguish where the citrus begins and where the spice ends. It is best worn on the skin… to enjoy. And although some complain about the longevity, I say it lasts quite well.

It works best worn directly on the skin… for pure enjoyment. While some complain about the longevity, I’d say it lasts quite well.
