Keep On Dancing – Eau de Parfum by Bruno Acampora

I must start by saying I don’t understand the trolls comparing Keep on Dancing to rubbish like Secret or Magnifiques; it has absolutely nothing to do with those, it smells like my private parts or WhatsApp excrement. It seems disrespectful to use this site for information and ideas when people vent personal grudges against brands or perfumers. Please, sort that out privately, not on one of the few specialised perfume forums that exist. And Keep on Dancing is a beautiful fragrance. A different all-rounder from everything else, lasting almost forever, projecting non-stop for its good 2 or 3 hours, where Miguel Matos once again demonstrates his art. So, don’t let yourselves be fooled by any malicious comments you might read and try the fragrance for yourselves. It is very likely you will fall in love with it, as I did, and if not, at least the rejection will be due to your own experience and not to the manipulated opinions of the usual four haters (and no, neither Bruno Acampora nor Miguel Matos pay me or give me anything for writing this type of comment…). I said it’s an all-rounder and, being a fragrance of notable intensity like most of Miguel Matos’ compositions, it is also one of the most versatile in my collection. It has a herbal-floral part with fresh airs, centred mainly on a camomile note I have never smelled before, making it perfect for spring and even for fresh days or summer nights. But afterwards it has a half-hidden part, very slightly gourmand, but very dark and spiced, consisting of coffee, chocolate and tobacco notes. The tobacco is, besides, a green and herbal tobacco. It is not a sweet tobacco like Tobacco Vanille or Ambre Tabac, but a much wilder tobacco like Renier’s Behique. This part makes the fragrance tremendously sexy but very elegant at the same time, making it perfect for both night outings and any type of event. That said, if what you want is to go unnoticed… Then don’t use Keep on Dancing… And a special mention to the packaging which, despite seeming simple in the photos, surprised me for the better upon receiving the fragrance as it is spectacularly beautiful.
