I sense citrus and mint that fade away gradually. Fresh scent, not intrusive, with moderate sillage and longevity. Ideal for a bright summer day, for men aged 20 to 30. I tried four Kenzo perfumes and this is the one with the least intensity, although it saturates at first due to the citrus and then becomes softer. I like it.
At first, it reminded me of Dior Homme Sport and a bit of Allure Home Edition Blanche. I sensed the lemon more like lime or grapefruit with a very fresh mint. I didn’t notice the black pepper well (I was expecting some spice). Then the marine notes come out strong. At 4 hours, I notice cedar, something musky, perhaps a bit of elemi, but the marine is still there. At 11 hours, the dry down is cedar with soft vetiver and a bit of residual elemi. The sillage was moderate with the full sample and lasted over 12 hours, but in the end, it feels more on the skin and the cedar becomes a bit generic. It’s fresh, ideal for summer or daytime physical activities. Clearly Kenzo wanted to compete in the ‘sport’ market and they do, although it’s a basic sport (unlike Dior which feels more refined). I found nothing of ‘extreme’; the sillage is just moderate.
Super fresh scent, with a touch of soft wood and the mint and citrus making an appearance. Perfect for spring and summer. The sillage is moderate and lasts on the skin between 4 and 6 hours.
Reminds me of that creamy mint from Guerlain L’homme Ideal Cool; they’re on the same wavelength. This Kenzo is softer and carries a bit of that marine touch from the Pour Homme EDT. Projection and sillage are weak; they’re hardly noticeable. 5/10.
Kenzo Homme Sport Extreme: Opens with a burst of citrus and mint that gives it a spicy kick. Then, that mentholated freshness turns marine and powerful. Finally, everything is wrapped in wood. It doesn’t last long, around 3 hours of projection and up to 6 on the skin. It’s green, marine, and woody, super fresh for the heat (a mistake in the cold). The best part is the mint-sea duo, and it’s clear it has matured more than its younger brother, which felt a bit artificial. Ideal for the gym, going outdoors, or a casual day.
