I absolutely love it. For my nose, it’s spices, leather, and incense, but on dry, woody, and amber ground, there’s nothing sweet about it; quite the opposite. It has a serious edge; I perceive it more as leathery than incense-like. Also, the incense seems short-lived; it’s not ecclesiastical or processional, simply accompanying the leather by giving it a sheen. It opens with spicy and light leather notes, then the leather intensifies, suede-like; I’m sure the violet leaves play a part. Afterwards, the leather adopts an incense sheen that lifts it, until it yields to musks and woods with a slight labdanum mixed with woody amber. Good longevity, lasting several days on clothes, with good projection. For me, it’s a fantastic perfume; I’m a lover of leather, wood, incense, and earthy notes. In short, everything it carries. I won’t discuss its dagger-shaped bottle.
I’m not a reviewer; I can’t identify notes with my nose, I believe we are 80% of users. I bought this to collect the bottle, and it looks very pretty on my shelf. I found it on YouTube thanks to Fragraby, searched for reviews, and there are very few. I knew it would be a challenging aroma for my taste, and it is. To my nose, it smells metallic, different from everything else, projects and lasts a long time; I haven’t dared to use more than four sprays. It occurred to me I could wear it to the beach, and I was surprised that after swimming, the scent remains on the skin. I paid 40 USD, an excellent price. I hope to take more to it and complete the review.
Lovely perfume, violet scent with musk. The pepper is felt at first and then gives a slight prickly sensation to the smell; the violet always predominates and remains talcum-powdered. The leather and incense give it body, and the musk closes the scent. I consider it not an aroma for everyone, but a very rich, tidy scent that turns creamy.
This is spectacular; it’s gentlemanly elegance and cleanliness at a divine level. I recommend it from the heart. It’s not just a pretty face thanks to the packaging. In my opinion, the violet and leather notes make it familiar but more powdery or creamy than Ombre Leather or the Maison Alhambra versions. Don’t be afraid, as there’s no invasive nutmeg like in a Sauvage Elixir. I don’t perceive the pepper note; I believe no one would notice it if it’s there. The ginger and vetiver embrace is very friendly. Believe me, it’s not a strong perfume; it’s very easy to wear if you like what I’m saying.

I bought this some time ago. It’s unusual, but in a good way. It smells of clean, metallic suede. It’s very elegant, smells quite oriental, and doesn’t seem like a designer fragrance. I detect it best in intermediate or cold climates; the heat overwhelms me. It has excellent longevity and projection, lasting 8 hours or more.

The Jamaican pepper spheres are about 5 or 6 mm and perfectly spherical. I don’t know why the Fragrantica icon shows a bell pepper. The funniest thing is that people comment they smell bell pepper just because of that incorrect icon.
