If you’re looking for the DNA of La Belle with peach, this isn’t it. Go for Teriaq instead. I’ll give my bottle more chances; it smells good, it’s vanilla and green-aromatic, but the opening is neutral and doesn’t remind me of anything in my collection. It’s a bit odd :/

  • I was keen to try it and the packaging is beautiful, like all of Jean Paul’s, but the scent… it doesn’t seem modern at all, and besides, it’s a slightly mature floral. The scent does last, but between this and the men’s version, I’d definitely choose the men’s one; that one is truly delicious.

  • I wanted to try it because of La Belle, and the blend with myrtle or peach was seductive. It opens with a fizzy peach, literally like Fanta or Frutti Fresh. Then the flowers come out with a touch of vanilla, but that fresh, dry sensation doesn’t go away; it’s a rare, difficult-to-explain vintage floral. I’ve never smelled anything that gave that fizzy yet vintage-dry feeling. Original? To me, it certainly seems so. Wish I could try before buying; it’s not safe to buy blindly.

  • Sour, chemical, earthy, dry, plastic and unpleasant. They must have been inspired by Daddy Yankee’s ‘Gasolina’ or Imagine Dragons’ ‘Radioactive’. The songs are great, but I don’t want to smell like that.

  • I was so eager to try this! 🤞✨ It’s a talc-dried apricot with a vanilla twist and a floral touch… at first, it didn’t captivate me like the JPGs from before 2020 (except Divine), but a few days later, on my skin, the opening took me by surprise: it smells amazing 🙌. The downside is that it changes so much over time that it no longer resembles anything, and I don’t like how it dries down.

  • Finally tried it on my skin, and the truth is, it’s quite different from the rest of the La Belle line. It smells extremely of peach, but a powdery one, almost nostalgic and vintage. Very fruity and floral, with a very subtle hint of vanilla. I expected something else, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, just not enough to buy it. It’s quite original and very summery. As always, the longevity and sillage are outstanding, typical of Gaultier. Perhaps I’ll revisit it in time, it might end up being my absolute favourite and I’ll purchase it, but for now, it hasn’t completely won me over.

Here’s the review for the La Belle Flower edition: I just tried it at Primor, luckily. What’s going on with this brand? Being a flanker of La Belle with peach, you expect a peach instead of pear, and you find a weak one, without charm, with a couple of flowers. Non-existent trail and a sad one-hour longevity. I put it on my neck and wrists, and an hour later there’s barely any trace left. Disappointed with Gaultier. Since Jean Paul retired and Puig took over, they’re not what they used to be. The last good ones were Scandal and Scandal by Night. Frankly, any cologne from Mercadona lasts longer. I was a loyal customer (Classique, Gaultier 2, Mandame) when they had quality and projection. This Flower edition is forgettable due to a meh scent and zero longevity, bordering on a rip-off. Paying 92 euros is throwing money away. If you want a peach that lasts, buy the classic Tresor (the orange one); this is a scam. I confirm that Gaultier perfumes are no longer worth the price.

Noses are a mystery, everyone smells it differently… I absolutely loved it; it’s different, moves away from the commercial and veers towards niche, so it might not appeal to everyone, better to try before buying. I detect more notes than declared, reaching wood and amber in the base. It’s not a girly peach, it’s more mature; it reminded me of Bonbon Pop without the stinging musk part. It’s not a bad perfume, it’s just different. It lasted about 8 hours with a wide trail for the first 3. People have complimented me, which is rare. My skin is grateful and I use moisturiser. I’d wear it all year round except full summer, when it gets too dense. Although it’s a limited edition, I’ll enjoy it until it’s gone.

  • Finally tried it on skin and the truth is, it’s clear it’s not like the rest of La Belle. Smells like peach, but a dusty one, almost nostalgic and vintage. It’s very fruity and floral, with barely any vanilla. I expected something else, but I liked it, although not enough to buy it. It’s original and very summery. As always, the longevity and sillage are fantastic, typical of Gaultier. Perhaps I’ll review it again; if I absolutely fall in love, I’ll buy it, but for now, it hasn’t quite caught my attention.

  • Sour, chemical, earthy, dry and plastic. Unpleasant. They must have been inspired by Daddy Yankee’s ‘Gasolina’ or Imagine Dragons’ ‘Radioactive’. The songs are great, but I don’t want to smell like that.

  • Everyone: bergamot, almond, coconut, pear and tangerine. They add a lot of rose, iris and neroli. It’s fun and carefree, but it smells strong. It reminds me of a perfume by Escada and another by Viva la Juicy.

  • A tutti frutti perfume: bergamot, almond, coconut, pear and mandarin. With plenty of rose, iris and neroli. Fun and carefree. It’s quite intense. Reminds me of a perfume by Escada and another from Viva la Juicy.

  • Perfumadict

Floral and fruity, but nothing bombastic; it’s calm and for enjoying in solitude. It doesn’t represent me so I wouldn’t buy it, but it’s not ugly; on the contrary, it might suit most people.

  • I hate it. I smell that magnolia as violets, and on top of that, it’s super potent. I don’t like perfumes with a violet scent, and this one made me gag.

  • I hate it. It’s so artificial. I read that it smells like floor cleaner and it’s true. How can the same house that creates the wonderful Divine Le Parfum produce this rubbish?

  • The La Belle line caught my eye, and they let me try three variations. It definitely has a woody, slightly rough edge beneath the florals and fruits, which was by far my favourite. It feels distinctive, carefree and a refreshing change from those sugary, syrupy fragrances they launch every day. Straight into my wishlist!

I didn’t like it at all. Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes are my favourites, but this one has horrified me. I think it’s a fragrance made for much more specialised noses, but not for the general public (which includes me). For me, it has a woody scent that turns me off.

  • I bought it blind and am now testing it. It’s best tested on skin as it has a significant transformation over an hour; it evolves slowly like a flower opening. At first, it smells like nothing… then after 10–15 minutes, a subtle scent appears, followed by a sweetening effect. By 40 minutes, it’s perfect: floral, fruity, and woody. It’s like a mix between La Belle and Divine. After an hour, it smells lovely, enveloping, and sweet, very Gaultier. The lilac and vanilla stand out; I love it.

  • I bought it blind and am currently testing it. It’s a perfume that needs to be worn on skin because it has a major transformation lasting an hour, evolving slowly like a flower opening. That’s how I understand it, because at first it smells like nothing… After 10-15 minutes, a very subtle fragrance appears, gradually sweetening until around 40 minutes when it’s perfect as a fruity floral with a touch of wood. It’s like a blend of La Belle and Divine. I’ve worn it for an hour now and it’s quite noticeable, enveloping, sweet, exquisite and very Gaultier… among the standout notes are the blackcurrant and vanilla; I love it so much.

  • It smells of cinnamon to me! Am I the only one? At first, it seemed odd, but once it dries down, I like it more. I need to try it again another day because it seems original, but I’m not 100% sure yet.

I was excited about the lilac note, but what a disappointment. The opening is harsh, almost medicinal, and although it evolves, it still leaves that very artificial medicinal base. It’s a shame because the bottle is beautiful and the larger sisters in the range are good.

  • I bought this as a gift while it was on offer. It smells of peach—very fruity and sweet. Although it doesn’t evolve much, everyone loves it. It has floral notes, good longevity, and a moderate sillage (often just a personal bubble). If you can get it at a good price, I recommend it: it’s versatile, light, and has a seductive touch.
