Simply a gorgeous fragrance, vanilla-sweet and sugary without being cloying. Almond-floral with neroli notes that don’t steal the show, and a tonka bean more appealing than ever. Everything is balanced: floral, citrus, woody and sweet in perfect harmony. I have the 50ml and regret not grabbing the 100ml. I’ll order a refill because it’s too fine, delicate and addictive. I wear it day and night; it clings so sweetly to clothes that I no longer want to wash them. It’s so warm it makes you want to go to bed with it. It’s like a beautiful, entertaining theatrical piece you don’t want to end. To me, it’s the Gran Teatro La Fenice; it could be my signature scent.
This perfume is exquisite; I’m completely in love with this soft neroli. It has me intoxicated, and I’d be sniffing it all day; I adore it and don’t want the bottle to ever run out.

I expected so much more from this Italian gem, especially with masterpieces like Rosa Mucaniga leaving me utterly enchanted, yet it turns out to be merely a pleasant scent. The opening doesn’t stand out, and in the middle, the almond and heliotrope leave a very marked musky touch without really shining. As it dries down, it’s a simple vanilla with poor longevity and projection, barely noticeable on the skin. In short, it’s been a small disappointment; luckily I tried the 10ml version—I’m not buying the larger one.
