Leather Patchouli by Montale is pure niche luxury. It’s a potent blend of leather, patchouli and oud that smells utterly different. You find yourself wondering: when should I wear this? It has immense personality and brutal longevity, lasting over 16 hours on the skin with intense projection at first. The quality is top-notch, as is everything from Pierre Montale. Although it’s not to my personal taste, I recommend giving it a try because it’s strong and may not suit everyone. Don’t buy it blindly; better to test it first. It’s a curious option well worth considering.
I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly; it smells very strong. The first few times I wore it, it reminded me of a stable.

Please, it has nothing to do with patchouli leaves, chocolate or vanilla; these are distinct accords that can be confusing. This one is more earthy, with very marked skin notes and a custard-like touch from the vanilla. Both are masterpieces; I love and adore them; they are impeccable patchoulis.
