The other day while browsing a shop in my city I came across this perfume, I have to make it clear that I’ve never been a fan of sweet perfumes as I always prefer to wear something citrusy, but after explaining my tastes to the salesman he told me to try this “gourmand,” thanks to him I’ve discovered one of my favourite perfumes. It blends the charm of a good citrus like lemon but with a super attractive sweet touch that gives it that sweet tone. I was looking for a gourmand to expand my collection and “force” myself to have a little-dessert-type perfume but in the end they all ended up being too cloying for me, with this one I’ve discovered you can wear something citrusy yet sweet at the same time without being cloying or bothering anyone. It’s true that it doesn’t seem like a 100% feminine scent to me, in my opinion it’s unisex, and I think it’s not at all a perfume to wear only in summer
I finally found a gourmand lemon perfume that I love! It’s a very tart lemon and then the vanilla comes out, but not in the devotion style, but very softly, it’s a distant and subtle vanilla. It doesn’t smell like lemon tart, nor does it have boozy notes, it’s like a sweet lemon, or an artisan lemon ice cream. I love it, very wearable in summer because it’s not overly sweet or overwhelming. A 10 for Toni Cabal
I love Toni Cabal and although at first I didn’t want to try the perfume because I thought it would be like devotion, which I own and love, it pleasantly surprised me because it’s a different, sparkling and refreshing lemon scent, like lemon yoghurt cake.
